“Hidden gem for food, drinks, and beer! Bartender Harlod was very attentive, easy to talk too. Had good suggestions. Hot Mettwurst is a great deal. There's nowhere in the area you can have 7 people with brats and beers for under $60...
One of the best brats I've had for sure!”

“One of the best butchers in the city of Cincinnati. A small west side staple but worth the drive from any portion of Cincinnati. High-quality, reasonable prices and beats the meat selection at Kroger for price paid versus quality and selection available any day! They do take credit card and they have ample parking.”

“Best meats in the city. Don’t sleep on the cheddar metts and the homemade brisket. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, especially treating my kids like celebrities.”

“Honestly the best “meat market” I’ve ever been to. Quality meat cuts & their own creations are delicious. Best tuna salad, egg salad, marinated flank steak, sauced ribs. It’s worth the drive from Ft. Thomas to get these.”

“My dad used to be friends with the founder of Queen City Sausage. My dad delivered livestock to all the slaughterhouses and knew first hand who used quality animals and who didn't. I grew up eating hot dogs, metts and brats from Queen City Sausage. I'm now in my sixties and they still make the only hot dog that I can eat straight out of the package. I pretty sure Elmer is still keeping an eye on his creation, so the quality is still there.”

“I just recently found this gem & the high quality meat selections, other delicious side items & best customer service can all be found here. I purchased these baby back ribs the other day...so delicious!!! BTW, Best German Potato Salad I have found at any deli?”

“Wow! I am so very sorry I hadn't stopped here before two weeks ago! On my first visit, I purchased the Truffle & Tarragon chicken sausage, and I am not kidding—it's the best chicken sausage I've had in my whole life. Truthfully, it might actually be the best chicken I've had in my life! It was amazing! This week I tried the Buffalo Blue Cheese, and it was perfect. The right balance of hot sauce and blue cheese. Absolutely delicious. There are so many flavors to try, even more if you eat pork. Now I will say, if you stop by and think you'll get a warm and friendly greeting, you might not. My experiences are that they seem sort of bothered that you interrupted what they were doing. No worries, the sausage more than makes up for it! Make sure to stop here next time you're at Findlay!”

“It doesn't get much better than quality fresh food straight from a farm to your table.
Tewes Farm is the BEST place to get fresh great quality turkey, chicken, eggs, bacon, vegetables and more! Homegrown tomatoes are my favorite and they have the best. Once you have a Tewes Turkey for Thanksgiving, you will never go back to store bought! I highly recommend you give them a try, you won't regret supporting a great family that has been in business for over 80 years!!!”

“Uncovering this secret gem was a delightful experience. My spouse and I have been eager to venture into an old-fashioned butcher shop, but due to inflation and other factors, it remained unexplored until our recent visit. As we entered, we were cordially greeted by Ms. Wendy, who stepped out from behind the counter to display their impressive variety of choice meats. Their selection also includes sumptuous treats for your pets. The inviting ambiance instantly resonates, solidifying our decision to make this our primary meat destination. We express our gratitude to Ms. Wendy and theTeam for their warm reception and eagerly await our next visit.”

“022224 my first time here. I didn't know there were any independent old-fashioned grocery stores like this still around. A friend of mine told me about this place a year or so ago. I was finally in the area and stopped in. I am hooked! LOL they have everything and if they don't have it ask they'll order it, they have things you can't find other places. They make fresh lunch meat sandwiches, they have hot meals ready to eat for carryout. A wide assortment of salads and coleslaws and other mixtures and a great looking meat department. The lady who waited on me at the meat counter was superb as was the lady at the check out.”

“I love this place. They are always super nice and helpful/not condescending. It’s worth shopping here and budgeting for the little extra spent here versus Kroger, in my opinion. Everything I’ve gotten from here has been exceptional.”

“Stumbled upon this place recently and shopped there today. A little difficult to find as I passed by it initially, but it is clean and organized. I have yet to try the food that I purchased, but Gina was very friendly and helpful. If I had a little more space I would try out their package/bundle deals, but I just got bags of chicken rings, fries, roasted wings and QC hot dogs. Great prices on 5 lbs. bagged items, especially given the rise in food prices. I’m sure everything will be delicious.”

“It's a microsized Jungle Jim's :) they have candy and chocolate and many other things from all over the world! The lady at the register was very friendly, no signs of bad service at all, as some others posted. I'll be back soon!”

“I liked the store better with the original owners but they sold it years ago. They have changed the inside layout some though they seem to have essentially the same stuff, albeit more expensive, not entirely the store's fault, and to keep a small mom & pop shop like this open things do tend to be more expensive but it's one of those places that make Erlanger, Erlanger!”

“Best chorizo, flank steak, tortillas, and freshly made tacos in Kentucky. If you come early on the weekends you can buy some freshly made tamales. Or grilled spatchcocked chickens. The best smelling parking lot in the area. Come extra early because they are bought by the dozens. They sell out fast.I have purchased chorizo from many markets between Florence and Fairfield, this one is my favorite. The staff cuts the meats fresh in store most of the time,Everyone is generally nice. You can order almost any kind of tacos and they are freshly made to order. And they are not greedy with the salsa. You can shop around and pick up some groceries and snacks while you wait.I have never had a disappointing taco from this spot.Occasionally you can get elotes made fresh too. Or fresh mango sliced up with tasty toppings.Delicious.Well worth the trip and then some.P.S.Avoid the "restaurant" next door. On either side ?”

“Put in an order last night at 11p, there was a error and I couldn't change it. Called in at 8a the next day "sorry your order has already been shipped." Great that they sent it fast, but I needed to cancel one of the orders. They were able fix everything over the phone and turned a bad experience into a great experience!”
