We went to Flying Axes-Covington for a bachelorette party. We all had a great time and John was great! We were running a few minutes late and they still were able to accommodate us. 10/10 recommend.

We had so much fun at Flying Axes! We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it was a perfect place for a fun evening. Emmerson was a great coach: thorough and fun all at the same time. She made sure we could stay safe while also having fun, and was our best cheerleader as the boys tried to hit the 7 point circle. Thank you all for a fun evening!

This place is great!We rented the lanes for 2 hours for 9 people, which was plenty of time for everyone to get a lot of throws in. They give you a brief instruction that lasts 5-10 minutes and then you can throw the rest of the time. The instructors will step in to give you tips if you’re struggling with your throws. The price is affordable for the time and experience you get. We felt very safe with people throwing in multiple lanes. Elijah was our instructor and he was cool and very nice. There was an instructor next to our lanes for another group who was little more hands on and made the groups play different games, which seemed more lively/fun, so each experience will be a little different based on your instructor. Overall it was a lot of fun and a great experience. We would totally go back!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I came here with one other person we were away from home just staying a few days in Cincinnati. Gavin our coach was the absolute best!! He deserves 30 stars. This was our first time ax throwing and I was nervous about a number of things. He made our experience worth the while we stood an extra hour and a half!!!

I love axe throwing and the staff here are good. But it’s expensive for one hour and you do not get the full hour. They take 10-15 minutes of talking way too long and always say “it’s ok we will let you go over by 10 minutes” but they never do. Just be aware you are not throwing for one hour you are throwing for 40-45 minutes max.

We came in for a ladies night birthday party and had the best time. John was our instructor and he was so much fun and so helpful. He took the time to actually help us learn to throw better and what to work on. We had so much fun and he was the best. I would definitely come back and request to have him again. While I didn’t drink, it was nice that it was an option for those who do and there was plenty of non alcoholic options as well.

Don’t go here. The manager has neglected this place due to his own burnout and it can be felt in the energy of this place. Don’t go.
