This stor is always slow and poorly sticked. But today, i walked in at 9:35 and was rudely told they would be closing in 5 min. So I left. Apparently, the store is only open from 9-9:40. I'll take my business elsewhere and so should you, it's not like there aren't a million Dollar grnerals....

Good store to buy just about whatever you need and want and the workers that are working there right now are nice and will help you find whatever your looking for if they have it!

Where's the no star button??? Smells like a dirty dog when you walk in and looks like a hoarders home. Everything is just piled up everywhere. Customer service is horrible!!!!

What I am about to relate is a tale of woe. Imagine, if you will, a product that feels the stuff of legends. You've searched shelves high & low at Kroger, Meijer, Walmart, & Target, but you've come up empty.But excitement over this product is such that there are even rumblings on decaying social media platforms like Twitter. You hear tell that they are available at Dollar General. So you formulate a plan.I don't often shop at Dollar General. It's the sort of store that makes me itchy. But I was determined. So I made my attempt today...This location, the third I visited this morning, is on Madison Avenue in Covington. It looked & felt like the most run-down of the three & was also the first that I was accosted for spare change (twice) & forced to engage in conversation with an overly-friendly gentleman of questionable reason. This store was the grimiest of the locations I visited today, with messy shelves & dirty floors.I went in & what I was looking for, if it would have been anywhere, would have been on a rack visible immediately on entry. My hopes dashed, I continued browsing the store's shelves for any way to salvage this attempt.Once again, I failed in my search.What was I after? Lay's Cheesy Garlic Bread flavored potato chips.Strike 3.

Horrendous customer service. Incredibly difficult to get ahold of anyone at the store via phone. A complete disappointment in human decency.

I called to see if they had the product I needed 7/29 4:53pm. The girl answered the phone. I asked if they had a product. She said she would go see. I've been here 45 minutes waiting while she talks laughs & gossips. It's ok. My time isn't valuable & it's not like anyone's paying you to do your job! ?

Horrible customer service from the manager I was standing in line behind.a lady with kids that had a cart full of groceries as I wait patiently a man comes up in line behind me with a cart of items the manager comes to the register and helps the man while I'm standing there. The lady in front of me said he just skipped right over you didn't he! I replied yes that's terrible customer service the manager then says well he's paying with a card are you ? Actually I am too but was I asked before you began ringing the man behind out. Hes not friendly at all I'm surprised hes a manager.

Horrible customer service! I was harassed and accused of stealing, just because I went back out to the car, to get my ID to buy cigarettes. I emptied out my pockets just to prove to the manager I didn't steal anything (even though I had only taken a few steps into the door before I realized I didn't have my ID) after emptying my my pockets, he went on to interrogate me, for just looking around.I was completely embarrassed, and humiliated! I will never go back to this store or any others!
