Best groomer in Northern Kentucky! My dog struggled with stress and anxiety at a few other groomers but not here! Applehead takes care of her and makes sure she is comfortable. Not to mention perfect hair cuts every time!

The employees are great with my dogs. My younger cavapoo is scared of strangers but they are super gentle with him. They also are very good at grooming the dogs!

They are so amazing with my dog, they never put them in cages. They are very gentle with him. He is relaxed and looks great when I pick him up. So worth it. After one visit with apple head I would never go anywhere else.

My dog has had some anxiety in the past when going to the groomer, but not at Applehead! They take wonderful care of her and I’ve seen her stress lessen since we’ve been coming here. Definitely wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else to be groomed!

They are absolutely wonderful with my 16 yr old dog. He gets nails and teeth done but I watch them do amazing cuts on big fluffy dogs and the dogs are all quite happy. Kindp, caring people. Your dog is in very good and talented hands here!!!

I would highly recommend Applehead City Pet and wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else. ☺️ The owner Monica is so nice and attentive to my pup along with all of their staff members! I love supporting a local small business and everything Applehead City Pet stands for using all natural products and cage-free grooming. Can’t say enough great things!

They did a great job taming the large amount of fur on our Husky. Street parking only. They request you pick up your pet asap after grooming as they don't use crates. I found it a bit pricey ($175.00) ,for a brush and shampoo.

Very welcoming establishment. Did a great job on grooming our little Pomeranian. Dog was ready for pickup when they said she would be. Recommend!

Excellent cut, friendly staff, and comparably quick to other groomers.My dog hates being groomed and has a lot of anxiety when she's in a grooming facility. We tried two groomers in the past before finally choosing to try it ourselves, but after three years of amateur cuts, we took her to Applehead City Pet and they did a tremendous job. She was still nervous, but the whole process was quick and easy, so her anxiety didn't linger. Monica was very kind and patient with both myself and my dog, and I really appreciated that level of service.10/10 would recommend!

My Aussie has very bad anxiety and can be extremely shy. I had trouble finding a good place that would work with her. We went to applehead city pet and happy to say we found our place! They did great on her trim, she looks/smells great! Wasn’t over crowded when I walked in.. watch I believe really helped with her anxiety and is cage free. Would definitely recommend!

Our golden retriever has been to a number of groomers and none have been able to keep him calm long enough for a proper haircut. It was clear from drop off that the groomer loves dogs and knows how to keep them calm. They were quick and did an incredible job. Very happy with the service and we will be back.

Took our Poochon Penny to Applehead City Pet today for the first time & we are more than pleased!! They were so welcoming and kind from the second we walked through the door. They went above and beyond to me our needs. Our girl has never looked or smelled so good!!! I could tell our dog felt safe and happy with them. She even left with a little bandanna and Christmas cookies with a picture of her. I highly recommend them! We can’t wait to continue doing business with you guys thank you so much! ?

Just got a new pup and wanted to find a great groomer for her. My husband found this place, saw the photos and thought it looked pretty awesome. Boy, was he right. They are so friendly, nice and they treat all of the animals so well! They lock the door so one at a time the animals can free roam (not together just in case) and gives them their own personal treatment. They have lots of options for treatment also. Just look at the adorable ornament, Christmas treats and poem they made! Highly highly recommended.

Monica is the best!! I recently accepting this little cutie into my home (we’ve known each other for years), and he’s “spicy”, as Monica would say lolHe is 11yo, and was kicked out of his groomers a decade ago, that’s when I started grooming him myself, since then, only a few people have known how to safely get the job done.We go in to get his nails done often, and he’s always happy to see her (such a good sign!)
