***BEWARE OF TIM SHORT CORBIN***So……I deleted this post after being promised the issue would be resolved but here I am again! 6 months later, same issue. See below for original post.They told Lexi she would have to drive it until the engine blows up then they could replace it. She bought the car to have a safe one for her 5 year old and a newborn. The vehicle won’t accelerate and burns oil meaning she has to add oil weekly. Seems extreme for an $18,000 vehicle huh?!! I will give them credit for the oil changes once a month due to the lack of oil. They do cover that ? They shut me up last time, everyone from the dealership called me. Not this time!! I refuse to take this post down again! If you buy a used vehicle from Tim Short, have it inspected FIRST!!We have given Tim Short Corbin plenty of time to correct the issue we had without any success. Lexi bought a (used) vehicle from them and she has had to take it back six times. They continue to tell her they will call her back, but they do not. One of the issues was such that they changed her oil and she later found the oil all drained out of her car into her driveway. She had the vehicle towed back to Tim Short because she was obviously afraid to drive it with no oil and they told her it was a disintegrated oil cap. When she picked the vehicle back up from them, it was making a whistling sound. A noise that it was not making prior to taking it back to them due to the oil. She called them back and it was discovered that The car has a hole in the catalytic converter. Odd that it has a hole in it and starts making a noise after they were under it messing with the oil cap. Ironic huh….When talking to the salesman (who’s name is James), he told Lexi he didn’t know anything about the vehicle because they had gotten it two days prior. It would’ve been nice if they would have done a little inspection on this vehicle prior to charging $18,000 for it, right? Now I know that we bought a used vehicle. However when you pay $18,000 for a used vehicle you don’t expect to have to take it back to the dealership six times. She did purchase the extended warranty that they talked her into purchasing and they keep telling her they will have to check with the warranty division before they can fix her vehicle. Granted, they did order the part and have her to bring it in so they could put it on however, they ordered the wrong part and had to send it back. She then spoke to them again and they told her, they cannot order the new part until the wrong part was received from wherever they ordered it. During that time warranty was not discussed. On Wednesday of this week, a manager, whose name is Andy contacted me because of my prior post and assured me the issue would be taken care of. Here we are two days later and still waiting on a return phone call with no resolve. Lexi had many car lots she could’ve chosen to purchase a car from however, Lori and myself suggested this car lot because we had successful purchases in the past. Lexi‘s purchase has been a complete nightmare. I have had many many people message me via Facebook messenger with their own complaints about this car lot. There is no way I would recommend anyone go here to purchase a vehicle. They pass our complaint from one person to the next with no resolve. Our next stop is an attorney. BTW, she’s 24 years old and 8 months pregnant……they saw her coming and jumped on the opportunity to take advantage of a young girl who would be needing a “mom” car ?

My husband just happened upon his DREAM truck on google search here on a sunday evening. We put a credit app in that night and the next mornin we bought it over the phone,went and got it the same night. Brother Roy was a delight and super easy to work with,the truck was a hot ticket item alot of people were wanting to buy(being a diesel and a standard),but he helped us the whole way

Excellent service from this dealership they fixed all cosmetic issues with truck and shipped it to me in Alabama….the truck is beautiful and drives great! They handled the title work within 2 weeks. I worked with Logan who was great and even gave me a virtual test drive! Ask for Logan if going to this dealership

Incredibly happy and thankful for this dealership and James Mullins! I have been looking for a vehicle since February, but I'm too picky and just couldn't find the right one. Until I found my dream car here! I made the 4 and a half hour drive to see the car and was lucky enough to be assigned to such an experienced salesman, did a fantastic job ensuring everything was set up so i could drive it off the lot same day. Absolutely worth the drive and will do it again when it comes time for a new one in the future!

If I could leave no stars I would.My husband and I went to look at a jeep they had listed over the weekend.It was pouring oil all over the floor , Ac not working and sputtering while driving and they want $16,000 ?!?! None of this was disclosed to us.Our sales rep was Kevin and he was absolutely horrible. Knew nothing about the car and they refused to fix anything that was wrong with it. We walked away from the deal and will never come back to tim short again. I wouldnt trust these people to sell me a sandwich!!Please be careful going here !!!!

I would give less than 1 star if possible. Our Dodge Ram was towed to this dealership last Thursday after we had roadside damage. We are from Ohio and were stranded at a hotel and had to call for a rental vehicle to get home. Here it is Monday afternoon and they haven't even looked at it--claimed they were too busy. I called another mechanic in the area and AAA and had it towed to the new place. Within 30 minutes of the truck's arrival at the new mechanic, it was on the lift and they called me with the results. Wonder why Tim Short's mechanics couldn't do this? Save yourself time, don't take your car there!!!!!

Excellent dealership to deal with. While travelling back to Canada in our 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 truck, we experienced multiple misfires from what we believe was bad gas, resulted in engine failure. Towed to Tim Short where we were treated very well. The staff troubleshooted expeditiously knowing we were trying to get home and were displaced in a hotel. When it became apparent we needed a new engine, a fair quote was prepared. As we needed time to decide if the truck was to be repaired in the US or towed home, they allowed us to keep the truck onsite at no charge. We reviewed our options and decided to have the engine replaced at Tim Short. Jason Stewart in the service dept is knowledgeable, attentive and compassionate. The warranty and cost is better than what we could get in Canada. The truck travelled home well. Thank you! We recommend working with this dealership.

Went here to Tim shorts to inquire about a used jeep/suv. I didn’t go with any expectations I would find a car let alone something affordable in this market. Immediately when I get there the guy asks how much I want to put down and how much I want to finance. He didn’t try to sell me a car or anything else before hand. I told him about $3000 down and he informed me they don’t really have anything for that. I expected that since retailers and the used market are price gouging. The only thing they had for that was this old Kia with 224,000 miles. Then he asked how I would like to go up to $400/monthly payments. I haven’t been back since

I have been looking for a Kia stinger, in a certain price range and I found it here at Tim short online. (I live in NC) Kevin Lefevers showed me the car FaceTime, all the imperfections (it’s a used car) and answered all my questions. If I was confused about something, this was the first time I’ve car shopped online, he had no problem explaining it til I understood. Once the car got here I was even happier than the week of the buying process. I COULDNT BE HAPPIER! Thank you again, kevin!
