Location itself is great. Love the staff. For transparency this is more of a broad complaint due to the fact that I've had this issue with other carriers as well. Am I correct in saying that we are currently living in the year 2024?
I had a issue with my phone that turned out to be a warranty issue so I didn't need to pay a deductible. However, when it came to the issue of replacing my phone, I was informed I needed to take my phone to a UPS Store and pay to ship my phone. Cricket would then inspect my phone once it was received and then send me a new phone once they had completed the inspection. I was told this process could take up to 5 business days. Not to mention, a temporary phone is not an option, so therefore I am to be without a phone for the duration of the inspection and shipment of my "new" phone. All the while I am paying an additional $15 for insurance. Had the phone issue been an insurance eligible claim I would be required to pay a $250 deductible to receive a new phone, but I would need to ship my phone in first. Again, being without a phone.
I just find this entire process to be a huge joke. For those people that use their phone for work, what are you supposed to do in these situations? I can live without my phone for a day, sure. But potentially 5 business days is absolutely insane to ask a customer to wait for a replacement. There are local stores in the area that you would think I would be allowed to go to once given approval to get a new phone. I realize this is the process for most wireless companies. However, it's completely insane to me. Were we still living in 2009, sure, I would understand. However, it is currently the middle of October in the year 2024! CHANGES NEED TO BE MADE.

My husband was having trouble transferring his old phone to the new one. He took it to Cricket for help and was back in the car in 10 minutes with all data transferred. People are friendly and knowledgeable. Very much appreciated.
