“Quick fast service, there are some good employees and of course there's one or two with bad attitude but overall it's a good place to shop for gas, ciggys whatever you may need.”
“This is a great place to wash your car if you don't mind getting out and getting wet putting elbow grease in washing your car this is where I go in Corbin most all the brushes are new and not wore out the sprayers have good pressure it's only a dollar to get to washing”

“Place is alright staff is alright. Need to fix pumps so u can pay at pump. Only place I have found fruit flavor Snapple in big bottles & has a good selection on everything. Cigarettes r reasonable they have a partition at check out doing great during COVID. Will be back. I recommend this store to anyone”

“Speedway is always a reliable stop. The pumps work fast, the lot is well-lit and clean, and the inside is stocked with everything you need for the road—cold drinks, snacks, fresh coffee, and even hot food.
The staff at this location is friendly and keeps the line moving, which is a big plus when you’re in a hurry. Prices are usually competitive too. It’s my go-to stop for fuel and a quick bite when I’m on the go. Can’t ask for much more from a gas station!”
“I always stop get gas it's cheaper usually and have great snacks polar pops cheap. It's good for allot of different things. Has beer sunglasses hats for sunny days. Now need to go this weekend lol”
“Very friendly staff and very helpful. Convenient location, last stop for gas and snacks before hitting the lake. Their grill has excellent food, hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, etc. They even have pizza they make fresh, it's not that frozen kind just heated up, it's the real deal and it's really good, with any toppings you want. The new owners have really improved the place a great deal. They have even put in a sporting goods store, selling guns, ammunition, crossbows and arrows for hunters, as well as basic hardware supplies. They also sell fishing supplies, and fresh bait during the spring and summer. Everything you need for a trip to the lake, camping, hunting, or if you just need a gallon of milk!”

All staff is nice except 1 long grey haired woman real skinny she makes my day bad she is so rude but I continue to tell her to have a nice day & she stands there looking stupid. “This is always my go to Loves for coffee, gas, propane and healthy snacks. I’ve always been greeted with kindness, courtesy and pleasant conversation from the staff.
I’ve read some of the negative reviews and it’s completely understandable that both the patrons and staff occasionally have a bad day, we’re human after all.
A kind word or smile goes a long way in changing people’s hearts and demeanor.
Regardless, as a frequent visitor at this store, I find the staff kind and considerate, the store and restrooms immaculate, the food and coffee fresh, the propane available, perimeter clean, trash cans emptied, shelves stocked, and the prices competitive.
One of the best travel centers in this area.

“The resort restaurant closed so I headed towards the $ General looking for whatever might constitute dinner. Thankfully, this little place caught my eye first! If you aren’t picky, are looking for something to take out, cheaper than the lodge (less than $9-$11 excluding drink)- It’s perfectly fine.My 5/5 is for the gas station food. I am not comparing it to restaurant or drive-thru food because it is neither. Cheap, warm, and decent food prepped by friendly people who smile when they speak to you = 5 stars by my standards. My expectations were - typical gas station food under heated lamps all day. Not here. They prepare it on the spot or have things heated in crock pots ready to prepare. I had 2 (for $6) pulled pork sandwiches. It was microwaved pork but I didn’t expect fresh pulled pork that had been smoked for 8 hours at a restaurant. It was fine. You can buy a whole pizza for $10, a few bucks by the slice if you don’t get there too late, Hot dogs, their chicken salad sandwich looked good. Meatball sub, all types of sandwiches and subs in general. Boiled peanuts, I recall something about broccoli tots or similar(?) Their regular chilled soda cans were under .89, they had a million varieties of sodas, juices, sports drinks, individual drinks, protein drinks, energy drinks…all kinds. And ice cream bars!! Good to know it’s there if you are at the park and need some food.”

“A note for Michelle, a kind stranger who works here.I just want to say, my dad and I stopped here late tonight and I ran in from the rain and the cold and asked if they sold bananas and the front desk woman said they don’t. This was the second gas station we had stopped at to find bananas.Before I could leave, out of the kindness of her heart, she gave me her personal bananas that she had for herself.
