I was fortunate when we moved to the area to have found the Adair County Animal Hospital. The staff is routinely friendly and helpful. They show genuine concern for the welfare of my dog. Exams are very thourough, actually the most complete I have ever seen in any vet I have had business with. My dog actually loves to come to their clinic. That speaks volumes to me. i would recommend them to anyone looking for outstanding veterinary care!

Our first visit and I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the cleaniness of the reception area and exam room. From the moment we walked in the door we felt right at home. I know my poopie girl is in good hands! Thank you Kayla, Mindy, Robin and Dr. Rexroat, we appreciate your dedication!

I came in from our of town, found a puppy I couldn't live without at a local shelter, and needed to get all its shots and vaccines done. I came in without an appointment and was seen right away which I am not used to. To my surprise the bill was way less than I am used to being from up north. I will be using them whenever I am here. Great job overall.

My Coco had to be taken there as an emergency visit with stomach issues. My son and his fiance took him as I was busy. So I couldn't properly write a review till I met the staff myself. I took him back for his second set of shots. Very informative. Excellent staff kindness. I highly recommed ACAH!

My almost 5 year old German Shepherd dog, Samson, had gotten very sick over the last few weeks. We visited our vet we had used his entire life 2 times within the time he was sick and could not get any answers. His symptoms continued to progress so I decided I had to do something different. I called the Adair County Animal Hospital as soon as they opened at 8am on June 6. I had Samson there by 9am and was finally able to get answers. It turned out he had a mass on his prostate, nodules on his lungs, mild pancreatitis, and had already developed hip dysplasia in both hips. Had I not taken Samson here, he would have probably died at home and I never would have known why. Dr. Pettyjohn and vet tech Nicole were top notch. They made Samson feel so welcome from the moment they met him. Their bedside manner was unlike anything I had ever experienced. Thanks to guidance from Dr. Pettyjohn, we made the decision to euthanize Samson that evening. She went over all of my options with me, but due to his poor health, I felt he had suffered long enough. I will never be able to thank the Adair County Animal Hospital enough. I wish I had went to them sooner. If I ever decide to have another dog, they will be my first choice.

This Vet Recently took care of my baby boy. WE Had a horrible emergency Situation but they wrapped my baby up and took him AND DID HIS SURGERY AND HE IS alot happy Now. I love each of them❤️ THEY saved my baby Boys life. The Dr's and nurses helped ease my mind. While he is healing they have checked on him and answered any questions to help Me help him. THEY TRULY HAVE BEEN A LIFE SAVIOUR. I WILL FOREVER BE GREATFUL FOR THE DR MEETING ME SUNDAY AND SAVING MY BABY. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I hope they know HOW THANKFUL I AM FOR THEM.

Words cannot express how thankful we are for the care provided by the entire staff at Adaiir County Animal Hospital. We were recommended to Dr. Terri Pettyjohn for follow-up care following an emergency situation with Koa. We are so appreciative of Dr. Pettyjohn's professional expertise and knowledge. She was very compassionate and thorough in explaining Koa's treatment and plan of care. She immediately notified us of lab, x-ray, and test results. We appreciate her further referral for cardiac testing for Koa. Dr. Pettijohn's staff Maddie, Nicole, Kayla, and everyone in the reception area (I apologize for not remembering everyone's name) were always exceptionally attentive, friendly, informative and professional. We were extremely impressed with the immediate follow-up by text and phone calls from the entire staff. Thanks to you all, Koa is well and healthy today, although he still remains spoiled and stubborn. You guys rock. We plan to continue Koa's future care with you all. Thank you again for all you do.

Adair Animal Hospital takes great care of my dog Rocky and all my cats. Recently my cat Jasper got into a fight and had to stay in the hospital for a few days. The staff updated me constantly and even sent photos on the week-end! I highly recommend Adair Animal Hospital!
