Loved this little convenience store. Employess super nice and helpful. Store is brightly lit and well stocked. Its the place to go to to purchase the incincidentals one may forget camping. Things are pricey but thats normal for out of the way areas that are as rural as this one is located.

The business is called "Day's Pro Bass." It is NOT part of the "Bass Pro" chain. The inventory of tackle and bait is very poor. They are often in short supply of basics such as bobbers, hooks, and swivels. They claim to have meal worms, but they only carry wax worms and try to tell me they are the same thing. The store has gone from a handy one-stop for bait, tackle, ice, and convenience groceries to your basic convenience store. In my opinion, its saving grace is the very tasty pizza at a very reasonable price.

Since the new owners took over the landmark of Wax KY has fallen apart. They have ran out of gas and bait. unbelievable and unacceptable

We used to love this place and got pizza often on Friday nights. Food was always great and service exceptional but that has changed since it was taken over by new owners. Their pizzas are not what they used to be and they serve them burnt and blame the machine.

Mike the owner is a nice guy And there's a huge variety of stuff you can buy everything from a soda to a fishing pole and hat the food is also good we get the wings and pizza all the time they need more Variety of food but over all it's the main gas station we go to and it's literally feet from the lake and they also have tackle poles bait ect

Delicious food, and all the girls are great at fixing food and timely, too. I like the pulled-pork sandwich.Only bad thing is Debbie sold the store , so hopefully the new owner will keep everything and add some good items.
