If I could rate no stars I would!! Absolutely horrible experience!!! My husband’s truck broke down and needed a pulley and alternator. He corresponded with Jeremy on Saturday and he said he was on his way, he never came! Called back and said he would have to wait till Monday because nothing was open to get parts! My husband waited until lunchtime Monday, Jeremy came and wasn’t prepared at all…he didn’t even bring his work truck he was in a Jeep wrangler with his dog! Jeremy used my husband’s tools and didn’t listen to my husband when he said he had 8 batteries not 4 therefore he fried his inverter and who knows what else on the truck!!! At around 5:00 he took a break and got food, he finally came back to finish, not only did he use my husband’s tools but my husband also helped him do the job!!! Eventually his whole family got involved…Dad, Mom, and wife a very Ma & Pop type business!! When he finally came back with the paperwork for the bill it was $2900!!! They charged my husband 2 hours labor on Saturday, my husband never saw him on Saturday! After my husband raised sand about the bill they blocked him in which was ridiculous because after all was said and done my husband’s truck wouldn’t even run and had to be towed to the dealership so whatever you do if you’re reading this DO NOT use them for anything!!!!

It took amonth and a half to rebuild my motor and when I finally got it home everything on it was loose and falling off and all my antifreeze had leaked out and they put a big dent in my cab and would not accept responsibility for it

Wish I could give no stars. $480 for and front drive shaft that lasted 4 months and I had to have that replaced. Then more money for a #2 fuel injector and it lasted 8 months. DON'T TRUST YOUR DIESEL WITH THESE JOKERS!

This place worked on 1 of my trucks. The truck had a failed fuel injector n bad starter. Call them for road service charged me 2 hours during those 2 hours instead of working on my truck they were at Wal-Mart buying drinks according to my driver. Then the mechanic tells me it has to go to the shop, tells me it will be fixed in a day had my truck for whole week. I asked for an estimate tells me don't have the time to put 1 together but won't rip me off n will take care of me bc he cares about his customers. At the end come to find out he almost double charged me for the parts n on top of that charged me $380 DOLLARS TO PICK UP THE PARTS. All I can say do yourself a favor and stay away from this place bc they are truly a rip off. I'm writing this review bc I don't want anyone out there to be taken advantage off by HALCOMBS DIESEL like I have been. Thank you Google for giving us this opportunity to WARN others out there of people like HALCOMBS DIESEL. Who are nothing more than a rip off n if I could give them less than 1 start I definitely would.

On 06/05/17 I was heading to London, Ky on the William H Natcher to make a delivery and a hose blew on my truck. I lost all of my coolant and my truck shut down on the shoulder. My boss called Halcombs to come fix it. After about 2 hours 2 guys show up in a repair truck, one short older gentleman and a tall younger guy. The younger of the begins asking me questions, "Are you married?" "Any kids?". After about 20 minutes he says "you have a busted hose and I can't get one until the morning, when the auto parts store opens". I said okay, I'm gonna get some sleep then. He then proceeds to ask me "would you like to go to the huddle house and get some breakfast". It was around 0300. I said no, I don't know you and I'm not going to leave my truck and my load. So they leave and come back around 0830. I got out and watched what he was doing, I'm not stupid. I asked him if they accept Fleetone checks and he said yes. Then he says "If your boss doesn't want to pay for the work, I'll just keep you and you can be my secretary!" I mean come on!! You're supposed to be a professional!! You're here to fix my truck NOT hit on me!! The order gentleman was real nice, never said anything out of the way! The other guy is just ridiculous!! Not to mention it cost my boss $975.00 for the repair!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!? This guy is a world class rip off!!!! STAY AWAY AT ALL COST!!!!
