The Olde General Store is the most unusual store in Cave Country, a super fun and interesting place to visit on a road trip. It is a cool combo antique, souvenir, and geode/rock store with a perfect feel for those looking for old stuff. Visitors find antiques, collector items, gifts, genuine turquoise, moccasins, handmade baskets, crafts, and lots of tools in unheated rooms. The shop also sells Kentucky made jams, jellies, fudge, country hams, and ice cold glass bottle sodas. The place just keeps going, with so much to see that one could look for hours. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. While some items are a little pricey, it is a very cool location where you never know what you will find.
