Hours: Marathon Gas is a gas station with easy I-24 access, featuring a total of 12 gas pumps, six on either side of the convenient store. It offers diesel fuel and has a convenience store with a good selection of drinks, candies, and snacks, though it does not carry DEF. There is a McDonald’s next door. The staff receives high praise for being very friendly and going above and beyond. In one instance, they repeatedly checked on and assisted a stranded customer for many hours, showing great care and kindness. However, the station can sometimes be understaffed, especially during early mornings or after a rush. This can lead to maintenance challenges, as restrooms may not be cleaned immediately after being left in a very nasty condition by previous guests. One women's bathroom was noted as clean but with one stall out of order. Despite these occasional issues, the station is appreciated for staying open for travelers, and the over burdened staff is acknowledged as doing their best under difficult circumstances.
