Been going to get my oil changed here for 20 years now. Slowly overtime the quality and service has gone down and price keeps going up. Today my normal $80ish oil change was $96. I asked what changed and the man said that oil went up and that he’s also been finding “crazy discounts on people’s accounts that he’s been having to take off”. That really rubbed me the wrong way. So for being a loyal customer for 20 years I was getting too good of a discount? That was the last straw for me. I’ll give someone else a try going forward.

Only good things to say about my experience with an oil change here! I was able to pull right in, sit in my vehicle while they worked, and was on my way in easily 15 min! They were friendly, and didn’t push for any upcharges/ additional maintenance. I will be back, highly recommend!

We have been using this place since we moved to Oldham County in 2021. The last several times I brought my car in for an oil change it’s been half done. Not to mention the pricing went up about $20 - $25. This last time they failed to secure the oil filter and I didn’t know until the next day when oil was leaked out all of my garage floor. They also took air out of my tires and my tires should be set to 36 and they dropped them down to 33. I was the first customer of the day and they can’t blame it on being overwhelmed. The lack of attention to detail is costing me more out of pocket to fix their mistakes. Update…. I went back and the store did replace the oil filter and made sure it was secure but this time they did not secure the skid/splash plate and now it’s hanging down dragging. On my way back to the store it completely came off. UNBELIEVABLE

We always had good service from this business in the past and my complaint isn't really about that I guess, but we have tried twice in the last several days to schedule an appointment online and they send an email saying they will call or text to confirm and they never do. Not gonna drive out there and not have an appointment confirmed. Do better, please!

Context: Have been getting oil changes at this location for quite some time now. I received a full synthetic oil change from this location a ~4 months ago. Drove the vehicle ~5600 miles after the oil change and the motor seized up on the side of the interstate. After taking it to Tri-County Ford in Buckner, KY, they told me that the reason for the issue was the drain plug had come lose and fallen onto the skid plate which sits just beneath the engine. Ford Motor Company has stated in their owner's manual that they recommend changing the oil every 7,500-10,000 miles on conventional oil, meaning full synthetic should be even longer. We, along with the dealership, have contacted Tire Discounters to see what they will do about their faulty and negligent oil change. We were told that because it was ~600 miles over 5,000 miles, still well under the 7,500 recommended by Ford Motor Company, they are not able to cover any amount of the repair cost. They are denying any responsibility for the oil drain plug coming unscrewed, which is interesting considering: 1. the drain plug is inaccessible. 2. The company that produces the car suggest, that if done right oil changes in 7,500-10,000-mile intervals are adequate. 3. Tire Discounters was able to reach this decision in just over 24 hours after being contacted by the servicing dealership. (Typical corporation(s))Overall, I have previously used this location for most of my oil changes, and my father has been using this location since even before Tire Discounters bought it. I can confidently say that we will no longer be doing business with this company, nor will I be recommending it to anyone else as I previously had.
