Very friendly staff, incredible views, onsite restaurant was very delicious and super affordable. Rooms are clean and well kept.

Such a beautiful place in a gorgeous location, though It needs some attention to detail. The shower wouldn't drain, the microwave was broke in the kitchen down stairs, the breakfast bar really needs changes in the food.
Rooms: The plumbing in the bathroom needs work.
Food and drinks: Not a good selection

We thoroughly enjoyed our first stay at the lodge room for a mid week escape!! Staff was great and food was good and very reasonably priced. Views and atmosphere were great as they loaded fire pit with wood to enjoy also. If your looking for a smaller park to escape to...this is it!!

Cottage was so big , comfortable and quiet.
The lodge is beautiful.
Breakfast is a little boring/repetitious, but tasty enough
Dining options are really nice

We reserved a king bed. When we got there he said we don’t have any Kingsize bed so they put us in a room with two very small beds. Then the room smelled like mildew and the sheets stayed damp. The restaurant was not good. Everything about this place is awful. Will never be back nor will I recommend this place.

The views of the lake from the balcony of my room were beautiful! The room had a retro look, but was very clean! The hiking trails were challenging, but fun to explore! The dining room was clean, and the service was great! The catfish sandwich and hushpuppies were delicious! Every park employee I encountered was friendly and helpful! I would definitely stay here again, check out the beach and play some mini golf!

Spent our mornings staring at maintenance workers butt cracks,
Watching four maintenance workers run one pressure washer.
The concierge breakfast was okay,
If you don't mind eating what the morning crew didn't want and they did not clean up after themselves....
When I made my reservations I inquired about boat and pontoon rentals, I was told yes they rent boats and pontoons.
But when we arrived we found the dock and boat rentals closed due to damages.
Most of the workers were not friendly.
The place was not very clean.
Very poor maintenance for the amount of workers, well I can't say workers we will just call them staff.
I will stretch it and give it three stars.
Very nice place to put a resort.
If you're looking for a nice resort go to Carter caves.

It's sad that the State Parks do not see the crowds like in the past. The rooms at the lodge do not have refrigerators, and the only place to eat is in the lodge. The front desk employees are very nice , however a lady in the restaurant is very rude and acts like she hates her job. It would be nice to see the Marina open again.
