I do NOT recommend doing business with Tim & Kim Roof of Bear Creek Horses & Saddles! I have been trying for a week to call, leaving messages and no one will return my call to explain why they chose to keep 500.00 dollars from the misrepresented horse that I got from them. I was assured in a phone call that Tim would be able to resell the horse for me and “get my money back”. 10 weeks later, I received a check for the horse, 500.00 short with NO explanation! I was told the horse was 12 yrs old and a little “ribby” and needed to gain about 125 pounds. He was calm and gentle, anyone could ride. When he arrived here, he was anything but calm and gentle, trying to run over me and knock me down, flipping his head up in the air trying to rear up. I took him to my vet, spend 300.00 for a wellness check up and teeth float. My vet rated his body condition as a 4 out of 9 and he estimated his age by his teeth at 17 yrs old instead of the 12 yrs I was told. The horses ribs, backbone and hips were all protruding! Very sad situation. So, long story short....don’t trust anyone...I lost 500.00 on the price of the horse, 305.00 at the vet, 450.00 in transportation of the horse and 150.00 in feed, hay and deworm while he was at my house for 4 weeks.
