I would never recommend State Farm. I paid for a policy which was later cancelled because the car didn’t have anti-theft device. State Farm knew it didn’t have anti-theft device when I paid for the coverage. I only had 1 day to find a new insurance company.

I've been with state farm for vehicle insurance for a little over 20 years. I can't even remember if I've ever had a claim with them. Never had an accident, been pulled over once in the entire time I've been with them. Something happened last September with my payment and my coverage was dropped. I was paying around 70 a month and to reinstate that coverage they upped the amount to $335 a month. I understand that I have some fault around not noticing that the payment has stopped but I had been on automatic payments for 20 years. I went out and got 5 new quotes all between $70 and $90. I will never use state farm again after this. The only warning I offer is they do not care about retention, they do not care about how long you have had a policy. If they get the chance to quintuple your rate, they will absolutely do so. This is clearly not a risk based approach to a rate when 5 other companies offered me close to my original. Crazy business model. The only regret I have is that they have 20 years of my business and I can't take that from them as well.

I changed to state farm due to being a great savings from my previous insurance company, keanna is great and quick replying, she wasn’t in the office the day I called but was sure to message me to be sure I was taken care of, and I was because Betty was wonderful and was able to finish up my policy because of Keanna’s wonderful notes left with my quote!Highly recommend this office!
