“Delivery personnel are excellent! But when I call in an order the number of tanks I request is NEVER on the order that the driver/delivery person receives. Example: Most recent order called in 10/10/25, I was clear that I needed eight 8⃣ 'E' tanks & ten ? 'C' tanks. The delivery driver was told I requested three 3⃣ 'E' & four 4⃣ 'C' tanks. The driver recognized that I had missed the previous weeks order (out of town--medical) and made certain that he had more tanks on board. He apparently recognizes a pattern in my needs, and he does an excellent job.
As for the telephone ordering system, I have tried the 'automated system' which got my request/order wrong, and actually talking to the local dispatcher/secretary/office manager and she routinely under orders the number of tanks I am to receive.
There was a time in the past when I was getting 'D' tanks (intermediate size) but I realized that the person on the telephone became more confused! The 'D' tanks are least useful for my schedule, so I try to avoid getting them.
There was a time in the past that I thought Lincare had provided me with too many Reserve tanks, but early this year we had an electric Blackout and I couldn't use the Oxygen concentrator for most of two days and I was grateful for the number of tanks here. Also, the Lung Specialist increased the amount of Oxygen I must have available and now I appreciate the number of tanks I have.
On the average, I am quite pleased with the professionalism and service of Lincare personnel.”
