Tried to get a Goodyear tire here... get this.. we were told they do not sell Goodyear tires and could not order them because they are not "corporate owned"... by their namesake... Goodyear tires.. what?? Also could not help with Goodyear tire warranties..

-NOW OWNED BY CHAMP'S AUTO- I tried out Goodyear for the first time since being bought by Champ's November 2021. Took my work car in for an oil change. A little while later I started the car up and motor oil started gushing out onto my driveway. The car is only 2.5 years old so I had it towed to the dealership. The dealership found that Champ's had installed the wrong oil filter. I have to drive this car on the interstates a lot, and this mistake would have cost my employer a new engine. Luckily it gave out at home. McGown was dependable; Champs are chumps.

Great service and reasonable prices. I took our truck in for a last-minute urgent tire repair and they got us in right away and did a great job of savings a tire I was afraid was beyond repair. I would highly recommend them.

We have been customers at Goodyear McGown Tire for years. It has a new owner now. My wife took our car to have the battery checked. We had already used the store for our oil change with the new owners. They said the battery was bad and wanted to charge $250 for a new battery. I told her to wait. They then charge her $50 just for checking it. She told them all sorts of places will check it for free. The owner then got smart with her and said you should have taken it there then. I wouldn't recommend taking your car to this overpriced smartass. We got a battery installed elsewhere for $125.

October 12th 2020, I went to have my tires rotated not only did they not put me on down the schedule, there was no one wearing a mask out of two employees and eight patrons. It was gross.The place has not been the same since Nelson sold it to Champs.

Did a good job with putting my tires on even if it took longer than any shop i've ever went to before. Also they are not upfront about charges. They charge to use a bank card. They over charged me and when they fixed it didn't refund the 1st charge. So i ended up paying almost 70 to just use my bank card! Also check your miles bc the way they had mine down cheated us 500 miles on the warrenty.
