The company (lowes) claims that they’re always hiring but my husband has applied here twice and they keep passing up his applications. He’s bilingual, he drives over 10 pieces of equipment as a trainer at his other job, and we were looking for him to get hired here to help us financially for our baby that’s on the way. Seems like they only hire people that NEED to be trained and taught by their own company. If you know too much they won’t show you any interests.. if you know nothing at all they’ll want you immediately and want you to learn off of their company and nobody else's.
Workers never ask if you need help.. it’s like you have to find a needle in a haystack to get somebody to come to you. Everyones just incompetent here.

Absolutely dreadful experience with "ordering" from Lowes and then with the third-party installation service. Long story short, because of an employee error (laziness), no one was ever scheduled for an estimate. So I spent days waiting without hot water for someone to come and give me a quote, only to find out that no one had ever been contacted.
After contacting Lowe's about the issue, they rescheduled, and made sure that a number was provided for me to call the third party installer. Even after this the installer failed to show up or return my calls. All said and done, my family had to go almost 2 weeks without hot water.
If you have an urgent situation that requires installation of an appliance, do not rely on these guys. They will leave you high and dry, quite literally. The only redeeming quality is how nice the main manager was about the situation. I went to The Home Depot and it was delivered the next day, almost $100 cheaper.

Stood in the electrical wire area for 15 minutes after pushing the help button 3 tines and nobody ever came, I had to stop a guy that was walking through and ask him to page someone. I would have helped myself, but their wire was locked up like Fort Knox.

When I arrived at Lowes in Bowling Green, Ky., I went to the Garden Center. I needed help on a water fountain pump that I purchased last year from Lowes. When the gentleman first started helping me, I thought he was very unfriendly, as he continued to help me, he became friendlier and helped solve my problem with the water pump. He did great! Kudos to kind and helpful employees! It makes me want to shop more at Lowes!!

It's hard to find help! It's also hard to find a nice smiling employee during the day shift.
Night-time employees are way nicer. I can say that lowes always stays stocked up, though, and always has what we need. I wish they would open up more registers for us to check out. There is normally always a long line to stand in. Overall, I do recommend this place.

If I could personally give a negative star rating, I would.
My Husband and I have spent thousands at this place to be treated very poorly.
Our first experience started a few months ago when we walked in-store to purchase new appliances. We had a 2,000 bill and at check out the computer malfunctioned causing a glitch in the system between our purchase and the confirmation on our purchase. Appliances were supposed to be delivered next day and when they didn’t show up, we called BG Lowe’s to see what the issue was. Customer service insisted we didn’t have that appliance as it got lost in the system. Thankfully we had a receipt of the order. It took 2 weeks of consistent calling and walking into the store before we could get an actual refund of our money. The lady who was able to fix this issue told us that the store should have reached out to her first as it was her area of expertise to fix those situations and it never came across her desk until we called corporate customer care.
The second experience was ordering a grill that was special ordered. We were told it had delayed delivery due to nobody being able to assemble the grill for us. After it finally came, the grill was busted and dented. We spent almost a thousand on the grill so we called to get a replacement. Over a month later and nothing. I am supposed to be getting a phone call back for a full refund on my purchase. I am so disappointed. This location has ran downhill horribly. When you walk into this location it is hard to find anyone to help you and by the time you get help for a complaint a new manager comes on shift for a few days and you’re back to square one for explaining you’re situation. We have been loyalty members for several years. We will never be doing business here again.

Found everything I needed which was alot but was without help from the employees that get paid to do there job try and help when asked multiple employees if they have certain stuff and if do where all would it be at noone knew or at least that's what they said, said that I would just have to look myself and see what I see is what they have. I would have kind of understood if they was busy helping others or working and wasn't just standing talking to other employees laughing and cutting up other than them great place to shop for stuff you need for your building supplies and home renovations but very poor service need to hire employees that will at least try to look and help customers with there needs I thought that is what some are there for
