I bought a Sony tv from Best Buy in 2019 it was a 2018 model for around 3200.00 dollars , My tv quit working a couple days ago and wanted them to do the repair on it, since it was a 75 inch I wanted them to repair it at my home or at the least come pick it up and repair it. They told me since I didn’t have a warranty that they couldn’t work on it and told me to call Sony,I called Sony and they told me they would send me city’s that had repairman that could repair my tv, they sent 1 city name I have never heard of so they were as useless as Best Buy!

Did a quick and thorough job only thing preventing 5 is they didn't seem to have it all together but still really good

Repair lasted less than a week, went back in and wasn't offered any kind of discount. They were going to charge the full price for same repair again. Customer service wasn't very friendly.

Very unpleased with in store service. Dropped my pc off to have a new operating system installed. The manager is who I did the transaction with. He talked me into buying the tech membership and didn’t even give me a receipt with a service number. Went back to the store three days later and turns out he didn’t even input any information into the computer regarding the order. The employee working there said I would just have to come back in a couple days when the manager is available. He also said that they haven’t even started working on my computer yet. Very unsatisfied and I recommend a local tech store before geek squad any day. I have worked on computers for years and the only reason I didn’t fix it myself is because I was in a time crunch. Don’t go to geek squad if you want good service. The online agents are very kind however and try their best to help.

Er Computer Repair Bowling Green KYHad a job interview at Geek squad they told me I knew to much was probably going to help there customers that was not there goal there primary goal was to sell sell sell not help customers and was scared I was going to steal there customers. Said this at a job interview !!! This was years ago..

Note: before today, I've never had a bad experience with Geek Squad!I came in without an appointment to see about my laptop battery which I didn't think would take 5 minutes. While I was there, the guy helping me commented on how long it was taking my laptop to start up and started telling me that my hard drive was most likely going bad. Fine, great, but then he suggested that I upgrade to an Apple computer to which I firmly denied. He once again said I should upgrade and I said no once again because of price. He ONCE AGAIN said I should upgrade because PCs and Macs are apparently the same price now (his example was a $700 pc vs a $1000 Mac) to which I finally said that I had only paid $500 for my laptop and that was good enough for me. I wouldn't be so annoyed that he was persistent if I hadn't been so firm the first time he asked. My no was quite clear and he didn't need to attempt to convince me any further because my mind was made up.

This is the last I go to Best Buy Cash in hand to buy something. Not only could I get no help I scuffed my boots on a protruding piece of metal on their shelving!!
