I ordered a new Ranger Radio that was paid for with my credit card for $437.00 in December 2023. I still haven’t gotten it. I asked to cancel my order and refund my money. I was told their technician Ron had died and they have limited funds to work with. I haven’t heard any more from them. I think I’ll get the Kentucky Attorney General’s Office to investigate them. Don’t deal with GI Joes! This is a follow up. It is now May 13th 2024, I still have no radio or refund. They are under investigation. I will keep updating this till I get my money back.

So I ordered R213 coax cable 206$ worth and after a week of no shipping notification I called and talked with a employee who was nice but stated the co-ax is on back order ? I said it wasn’t listed that way but how long will that be? Said he has ordered over 2000’ and it could be today, tomorrow, or even 6 months from now but when it comes in he will let me know . Said most cb shops have it on back order, awesome. 3 stars for the friendly reply but should state the obvious when ordering.Ok so I sent a email requesting my order to be cancelled and for my money back and Ron sent me a nice reply canceling my order and said sorry he couldn’t get it for me . I definitely will come back to his site in the future. Very friendly.thanks Ron

I've talked to several shops across the country. Ron talks to me like a family member. He is absolutely straight forward, polite, prompt and truthful with me. I've come to find out 98% of these "techs" are rude, and just down right arrogant! But not Ron! He's legit, or at least had been to me, and he doesn't know me from Adam.. We've never met. I have ordered a 99n4-loud-proud-and best radio in my area, A connex 33 , loud- clear- great sounding radio, and a insanely loud Stryker447, they have commented left and right on the stryker!! All of them actually! I got a Astron 70 power supply, and probably more. But if you know radios, then you know the numbers add up! I would do it all twice again. And plan to call him in a few weeks for another great radio! And don't think I don't know, Bells, Trucker, The Infamous Mud Duck in the Desert, and more! But I'll send Ron my CC # on a Napkin if I needed to, because the man is good! And I trust him. I've got the flowers and waves across the globe to prove it!

Ordered an antenna and found it wasn't in stock . Ask for a refund ...they said they would . Never got my money back so far . They don't do what they say , don't answer the phone or return my calls . I believe he's a scammer . Probably out my money and will never deal with them again .

Great personal service! Tried to order online for Christmas, couldn't get it to go through. Received a phone call the next day asking about my order, called back and spoke to the technician and he took care of my order! This was the week before Christmas and still received in time to give as a gift! The website isn't the best, but the company is one of the best! My husband called after he received his gift and the tech told him exactly what he needed to do to hook the radio up!

These guys are great at what they do...I'm a retired OTR driver and was really looking for a whole new set up. After talking for a few and figuring out what I really needed, then in about a week had my radio ready to go...highly recommended...

Ordered a general lee peaked and tuned. Lasted half a day and burned the final out of it. Sent it back along with 2 other radios that needed repair work around June of 2021. Called late winter of 2021 and was told they'd get to them when they get to them. Coming up on summer of 2022 and I have yet to receive my radios or any information on them. Will never purchase anything again from this place.

I have purchased a few items over the past month or so from Ken and Ron at GI Joes. Everything is absolutely perfect. Ron is THE Tech to go to. My last purchase, a Stryker 955, is without a doubt the best, and clearest radio I have ever used. 100% good reports from everyone I talk to. I use the stock mic that came with it, for me, no need for power mic or noise canceling mic. If possible, I would give them 6 stars . . . . . . . . . * * * * * *

I would give this zero stars if I could. Purchased a stock radio for over $619 and chose the N/A option for no modifications. After taking my money ( almost $700 when it was all said and done), I get an email telling me that they will only ship my radio if I pay them additional money for modifications. When I call to discuss he hangs up on me. When my wife called back he started screaming at her when she asked why that wasn't disclosed in the initial post for the radio. While he certainly has the right to sell only modified radios, he should be honest and upfront about his intentions. He told my wife he doesn't sell stock radios but yet has them posted on his website. If I wanted his mods I would have selected that option. He admitted having no intention of selling the radio without mods. To me that is false advertisement. I put a claim in with paypal and they found in my favor and I was refunded the money I paid. Such a waste of my time. It is ok to sell only modified radios but it is not ok to trick or try to force people into buying the mods. For me it is the principal of the matter. Ended up purchasing the same, unmodified radio from someone else for less money.

Wanted to purchase a brand-new untouched out the box radio. No can do according to them. They wouldn't sell it to me unless they had the tech do who knows what to it. Item in stock, I have the money, and they won't sell?

I purchased a supposedly-new antenna from them, only to discover that the threads were completely galled upon closer inspection at home. I've contacted them several times, and given them many opportunities to make it right; but they don't seem interested in doing the honest thing.
