Long story short is they rob you, break everything they touch, and are so dangerously inept at their jobs you’re lucky if your vehicle doesn’t crash when you leave their shop.
I took my 2015 Ford Edge in because the electronic emergency brake had malfunctioned, and the system was actively alerting me to release the brake both audibly and on the data screen. The brake was not engaged however, but it was completely non operational. I live in Benton so since there was an audible alarm I limped it there. I had them read codes and was told I needed new rear brakes along with the emergency brake issue. I was told to leave it for two days and that it would be $576 + tax.
Two days later I got a call saying one caliper would not release and they needed authorization for an extra $199 to replace it.
A week later I still did not have a vehicle, when I checked on it they had “replaced the rear brakes and calipers, and the wiring harness on one side, but they could not get the alarm to go off” I was informed they would keep booking it to the reader and trying. I advised them to stop and that I would be by for my vehicle.
When I arrived I was presented with a bill for over $1100. I told them I absolutely would not pay that, the last I was informed the charges were approximately $775 +tax. I ended up paying $926 and immediately taking the vehicle, alarming all the way, to Parker Ford in Murray. The guys in Murray are excellent professionals and immediately diagnosed the original issue. My windshield had been installed improperly by Safelite and had been slowly leaking down the A. Puller to puddle under the passenger seat, corroding a wiring harness. They had bad news though, when Benton Ford replaced half the wiring harness and somehow failed to notice the pool or corrosion they not only used the “drivers side” harness on the “passenger side” rendering it completely inoperable, but they also broke the actual connector on the harness they used.. so it was garbage.
I had them take a look at my breaks and it was a good thing. Not only did Benton Ford not use A SINGLE FORD CERTIFIED PART ( which is the entire POINT of going to a dealership so that the work and parts are warrantied) but they DID NOT ATTACH THE BRAKE PADS SPRING OR CLAMP LEAVING THE BRAKE-PADS FREE-FLOATING. ON BOTH SIDES. They were already worn at an angle from the 20 mile drive and the hardware only comes with new pads, so ALL the work Benton Ford did had to be completely stripped, Murray (Parker) fixed Benton’s dangerously inept and unprofessional job, and documented everything.
Don’t take your vehicle to Benton Ford, they don’t even know how to attach a brake pad, they obviously don’t care about your safety driving down the road.

They went above and beyond to get me in a car. I had issues, and they worked through all of them. Extremely friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this dealership. Salesman Alex and manager Tony were God sent and because of them, I have a beautiful new to me car.

Chris senf and all the team at Benton Ford was amazing to work with! I brought them a 2014 Jeep Patriot and they were able to put me in a 2023 Ford Escape! Phenomenal people to work with! Would recommend them time and time again!
