My only reason for leaving this review is if you buy shoes somewhere and they don’t fit you, you should be able to return them or switch them out. I had to drive 30 minutes there and back twice for this ($100 might I add) pair of shoes just to be declined because I wore them one time when I figured out they weren’t the right size. Policy or not it’s d*** so here’s your one star review.

7:15 pm. Not crowded. Seated pretty quickly. She ordered grilled catfish - so salty it was not edible. The baked potato was average with one tiny plastic serving of butter with it. Had to ask for more. She brought two more. Ok. The Cole slaw was terribly over done with mayo. The potato salad was better than average. Two large greasy (oozing) hush puppies. We sent the catfish back and replaced it with fried catfish. Better. I’m had a one piece catfish sandwich. Plain bun, mayo, tomato slice from the top of the tomato with a hard center, and a piece of lettuce. Our waitress was in some sort of a hurry and as soon as our food was delivered she presented the check. Ho hum - just a diner, nothing special.

We had a terrific dinner here. I’ve eaten fresh catfish my whole life, but this was the best I’ve ever had and the service was awesome too! A complete 5* experience!

Came in for dinner Sunday and like always, food and service was excellent. Love the fish dinner, much better than Stricklands Seafood. I'll be back. Thanks for doing such a great job.

Do NOT let the fact this place is in a Bait and Tackle store fool you. This is the best food I have had in a while!!! One of the best Ribeyes i’ve ever had! So glad we stopped in last night!! Will definitely be back!!!

The locals raved about this place so on our last night at LBL on our anniversary vacation we agreed to try it out. In a nutshell, no indoor dining, call in order or order at desk, wouldn't serve us a beer even in a to go cup, made us eat outside in 95 degree weather from take out containers, didn't give us utensils with our grilled fish order, and gave us fried fish instead of grilled which cost us $2 dollars a dinner. Hush puppies were burnt and fries were soggy. The clerk at the front tried to convince them to allow us to eat inside due to the heat and it being our anniversary. We could hear them fighting in the kitchen. All in all........may be a nice place, but they really didn't make an effort to serve us even on our special day.
