“I don't drink alcohol but I do go there for the roll your own tobacco products (tubes and tobacco). They have a wide variety of selection and price. I can always find what I'm looking for. Love them”
“Buying cheese here is such a treat!! There are some consistent favorites, but always something new to try. From individual cheeses to their beautifully crafted boards, The Rhined sells and shares an amazing lot of cheeses and other provisions (pickled veggies! spreads! wine! chocolates!). Working with their staff to pick out your new favorites is also a lot of fun, they are so welcoming and knowledgeable.”
11AM - 7PM
227 Elm St, Ludlow“My favorite spot to pick up something special. Every visit I’m greeted like an old friend. Recommendations and delicious goodies can always be found here. Whether you need something for a host, teacher, friend, family or yourself, you will always have an abundance of choices. Wines, chocolates, treats, specialty foods or lunch/dinner, you shouldn’t miss it.”
“I travel to Cincinnati frequently on business, Loved this place and glad I stopped in! Huge selection of rotating craft beers on tap and bottled beer as well. Very unique, upscale and modernized place in downtown Cincinnati to enjoy a beer!”
“This Is a great place to get craft beer they are very knowledgeable ! And friendly! Looks like they have different wines too. I would definitely recommend this business”
“This is one of George Sharpe's stores. As always, it was spotless, great selection, and good prices. He runs a class operation and has one of the best humidors in the area. If you are looking for good place to go for wine, spirits, and cigars or cigarettes, then look no further. One quick note- if you are a cigar enthusiast, you probably already roll the cigar between your fingers to check for any "crackling". This would mean a dry cigar, probably not salvageable. This store almost always has the humidity above 70% and hence no crackling. ENJOY!”
“A true "Pony Keg" in Reading, Ohio.
This place has been a part of my life since early childhood, when my siblings and I would accompany Dad there to purchase beer and pop for family picnics, holiday and other gatherings. It is now in the hands of Bob's children and grandchildren, but they are such a great bunch of people that you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door.
I stopped just to get a lottery ticket during my recent visit, but they have almost anything you want or need. It's a quick stop for "on the way home" or "on the way out of town or to the beach or to the river, etc." There is a convenient drive-through, too.
Lots of free lot parking and right at a traffic light on Reading Rd, so easy in and out.
Stop in and become a part of the Gertz "family".”
9AM - 11PM
118 6th Ave, Dayton“Liquor King is a great alternative to the fast paced environment of a big box liquor store. They have everything you could ever need. I try to always visit this store over a corporate store and recommend it to my friends nearby. The service is always friendly and helpful, and they always remember their customers. They also provide a variety of snacks for sale, including candy and chips. Go check these guys out!”
“Friendliest service from the deli to checkout. Choices are always fresh and delicious. Includes a grocery store with perishables and non-perishables. Good parking options. Quick in and out and they have inexpensive options if you don't want a full luncheon box to go. Love this place!”
“The owner is very friendly & knowledgeable. Their selection is impressive. This is a great spot to visit especially if you'd like a little help finding a bottle or two that you'll truly enjoy.”
10:30AM - 10PM
7699 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati“Do you like ipas? Sours? Odd local brews? This is the place for you!
You can buy them in singles so you can try what you want without having to commit to a full 6 pack. They have rotating season stock I think: in winter I see more stouts and in spring I see more sours.”
“It was nice, I was making a specific drink and needed half n half. Asked about it and the very kind gentleman up front told me that he didn't carry it but if I needed it he would get it in the store. Awesome customer service. I will update on follow-through. Highly recommend”
“I love this place! The owners & staff are so nice! They make sure to have my beer in stock every single week! I go nowhere else! 100% loyal customer! A++++++++++++++++”
“Relatively new to this area of town, but this place is GOLD. The employees are friendly and engaging, and honestly, every time I go in (which is usually just for RC 2 liters), they make me laugh with their cutting up with each other. Seriously... keep up the great work! I'm a huge fan!”
10 AM - 5 PM
5872 Cheviot Rd, Cincinnati“Don't miss this small wine shop!! One can pop in for a bottle to bring to a dinner or gain suggestions for pairing with a dish or dessert. One of the employees is studying for a sommelier exam and he will gladly share knowledge of various regions. You can find a carefully chosen selection of wines for nearly any palate here. There are also some IPAs, crackers, olives, and chocolates available. You won't want to skip the sign up list for tasting nights!”
“To this day still the best place. This is actually a ****10**** location to find your Libations and Drinks!!!Great PricesGreat StaffGreat SelectionWill order from anywhere in the world if not in the store.Easy in and out of the parking lot.All around Super experience every time I go to this spot.”
“Stopped in, 1st time, during the December holiday Clifton Fest on Ludlow. We got a friendly welcome and explanation of the day's tasting menu. Between us 2, we shared a tasting of four pours--all of which were good. The atmosphere is great and Ludlow Wines has a neighbourly vibe that is quintessential to the Clifton Gaslight area.”
11AM - 11PM
1919 Cleneay Ave, Cincinnati“Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. He knew that he didn’t have what I was looking for before walking me to where it would have been and made a great comparable suggestion. Wife and I both love the Bodhi from Columbus brewing company.”
“Quick in and out for Patron. They do carry the BIG bottle. Price was competitive and the service was quick and courteous. They have added a beer cooler by taking over the space next door. Mixers and other compliments are available. A full service spot for spirits and libation. Thumbs High! ?”
“Excellent hidden gem on the river. Great selection of bourbons and very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They even have tasting of the higher end stuff so you don't end up with something that you don't like!”
“I hit this place daily for smokes. Very friendly and they remember you. Bring your dog with you for a dog treat. They appear to have a large selection of alcoholic drinks for you drinkers. The quencher sign in front always has something to say.”
“Great service. I was looking for a couple of very specific bottles to give as Christmas gifts, and the staff at the Wine Cellar was able to quickly help me find and order the right bottles. Good selection and variety of price points. I was also formerly in a wine of the month club there, and the bottles were always interesting and helped me expand my horizons.”
“Uncovering this secret gem was a delightful experience. My spouse and I have been eager to venture into an old-fashioned butcher shop, but due to inflation and other factors, it remained unexplored until our recent visit. As we entered, we were cordially greeted by Ms. Wendy, who stepped out from behind the counter to display their impressive variety of choice meats. Their selection also includes sumptuous treats for your pets. The inviting ambiance instantly resonates, solidifying our decision to make this our primary meat destination. We express our gratitude to Ms. Wendy and theTeam for their warm reception and eagerly await our next visit.”
“Super friendly staff! We were visiting Kentucky and on the hunt for a Kentucky exclusive bourbon. The team helped us pick out some great options, their pricing was awesome, and we loved their recommendations when we got home and tasted them.”
“Great selection and the automatic pouring station is fun for sampling! Especially on Fridays when a group of us get together informally to taste and talk wine—anyone should feel free to join us! Now known as Funk Fridays after 5 with funk music and a fun crowd :) If you’re intimidated by the machine just ask the staff for help or another tasting patron as everyone is very friendly. As a millennial I personally like that I can browse without being bothered (at least initially/ while I get my bearings) but a few staff members are always around and able to make recommendations if I need it. Definitely ask for help if you’re new to wine or looking for something specific! Kathy and Kevin have years of great travel/tasting experience, Jim is very outgoing, has a culinary background and is the person to ask about the wine station wines along with Emily who is also very friendly, and Dan is very personable and will be sure to take the time to find out what you’re looking for—all are very knowledgeable and will make great recommendations, especially if you can describe something that you know you like as a reference! They also very kindly helped my sister (from NY) surprise me with a bottle of Champagne which they decorated with ribbon and put together a gift card and tasting machine card (pictured) all over the phone for my birthday—very helpful and thoughtful!”
“This has been my favorite wine market for years and years. Absolutely the best. Reservations recommended for weekend wine tastings.
Wide selection available with some by the glass, including in plastic cups to enjoy as you explore Findlay Market. They also have a decent beer list with drafts too.”
“This is the best liquor store I've ever been to. It doesn't have the feel of a regular liquor store. My daughter came in to use the bathroom, which usually I would never allow. It's really bright and open and the customer service is great! I no longer go any where else!”
“If there is something you are looking for, go here. Their selection is amazing. Their staff, however, is more than amazing. Their knowledge and service are honestly unparalleled. They are helpful, and delightful to talk to. It really shows that they truly enjoy their work- talking to people about what to drink! I live more than an hour away, but this is my go-to. Thank you for always being a great place.”
“I found this shop on google maps and Spencer did a fantastic job purchasing, packaging and arranging delivery for a wine gift to a local resident. The packaging was beautiful and the recipient loved the wine. Thank you for your attention to detail and help with this order from out of state!”
“Super helpful staff! Huge selection of anything you want to drink! Would recommend this place if you're looking for something you can't find anywhere else.”
