I've been on a few ghost tours before and although they're always a lot of fun, I've never experienced anything paranormal. I loved this ghost tour because not only did they explain all the historical people who visited, but I loved the way we could explore the rooms, corridors, and cemetary on our own during the breaks. It was really cool to see photos and videos from past guests and hear the stories. If that wasn't enough, I actually captured a full body apparition in the graveyard on the 9:30 tour! It was the most wild experience I've ever had and turned me into a true believer!

Worst bed ever, challenging shower. Very cool venue. Staff is outstanding - seriously the hardest working staff we've seen in a long time. Great location. Parking can be challenging. Restaurant is very good.

In the heart of downtown Bardstown! Awesome organized selection of bourbon. Good Hot Brown to boot. Upstairs has a good representation of local history. Can't wait to come back. Make sure you call ahead for a table. We wanted to stay at the hotel but it is always booked. Plan far far ahead if you want to stay here. We hope to stay here in the future if we are able to get a room. Enjoy!

Great location for the bourbon trail. The room was a smidge disappointing. The bathroom was itty bitty (Lincoln Room). We’re not large people and literally felt like we could pee, shower and brush our teeth at the same time. The headboard almost fell onto us when we first laid on the bed. The floors were squeaky but it was a 1700’s tavern so this expected. The biggest issue was how utterly FILTHY our feet and socks were after walking on the carpet. Breakfast was wonderful. Such a nice choice and the food was delicious. If you’re sensitive to noise, take an extra white noise machine. One comes in the room but the ambulances and trucks on the traffic circle were loud.
The staff were all amazing. We’d stay here again with caveats for the room we’d choose.

Stayed here for Bourbonfest. Nothing over the top but great location if you're exploring Bardstown or the surrounding area. Walking distance to the festival in the park and shopping and restaurants in town. Alex at the front desk was really friendly and our waitress for breakfast was great. The rooms were clean, the complimentary breakfast was good, friendly staff and good location.

The Tavern has graciously stepped in as our Library is closed unexpectedly. They are allowing our chair yoga to use a space so we all went downstairs and ate lunch together. What a wonderful time. Delicious food and great service!
Food and drinks: The fried Banana Peppers and Tomatoes were absolutely delicious!

Glad we stayed here. Historic building but rooms are updated and nice. Walking distance to everything. Great location.

We had a fascinating stay at this unique Inn. We stayed in the Daniel Boone room. All staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.
We loved the new breakfast program that was started the second morning we were there. It tasted awesome, and I liked the few options presented. Nicely done.
While we experienced no paranormal activity, we enjoyed the stories and personal experiences shared by some staff.

Stayed in room 102 for 2 nights and the room was very nice and so was the bathroom. Everything was very clean, lots of good restaurants and bars within walking distance as well. The only disappointment for me was the breakfast provided at Talbott’s Tavern. The only options they had were Bacon, Eggs, and Biscuits as far as hot food. Then you had the option of cereal or oatmeal you could make. Just expected a little more I suppose but overall our stay there was very nice.

Only come here if you want to sit and never be served. Bartender walked past us 3 times never acknowledged us. Do yourself a favor and walk down the street to Evergreen. Mikey is the best at Evergreen and you can never go wrong.
Noteworthy details: Hard pass

This historic building is beautiful and very haunted.
Food and drinks: Food and drinks were absolutely amazing! The servers went above and beyond what they had to to make sure we were comfortable.
We had wanted to do an investigation, but it didn't work out ?.
