As a visitor to Bardstown, we were directed to the Peacock on Third to shop for a ladies hat. I found a lovely hat and a surprising selection of unique clothing and accessories. I wish this shop was closer to where we live, I would be a regular shopper there. I can warn my husband that whenever we are in the vicinity he can relax nearby with a pint and I’ll be shopping at the Peacock.

I am not a shopper. However on the Bourbon Trail with another couple we had a field day at this store. It’s a must visit. I bought pieces to make 3 different outfits and my friend did the same. Even our husbands enjoyed the experience. Owners are a delight and gave us names of places to eat that are off the beaten track.

We were traveling through and I messaged Kate the night before. By the time I arrived, she made some personal selections for me (thank you!) and had a dressing room ready. They are a dynamic team and make shopping truly a positive experience for every style, size , price point and occasion.

Absolutely adore this little local shop! The staff are excellent at pairing each person with an experience and attire that are one of a kind! It's always a welcoming and fun atmosphere and the store is stunning! The variety of accessories to pair the every changing clothing in the shop is always a huge selection! I adore this shop in my hometown! You should too! The clearance section is huge for the those who like to bargain hunt with their friends! It's a must while in Bardstown.

The old Spalding and Sons was a nice historic store. The new one is pleasant but seems more geared to tourists like the rest of the downtown. Still they have some nice clothes. The men's section is rather small but they have some nice items. The bow ties are a little too high priced. And, its hard to appreciate the bow ties when the wrack is sitting on the floor.

Amazing ! I had made two trips to Louisville buying for several occasions I had this month and ended up taking all that back and shopping at Peacock ! I bought three outfits perfect for each of my events ! Thanks again and I got so many compliments!!!
