I'm from out of town , yesterday was my first time ever having an encounter with a racist KAREN HERE IN DG AT BARDSTOWN, KY ! So if you're of COLOR PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME & go here !! When I ENTERED THE STORE, NOBODY SPOKE, the PEOPLE ON THE CLOCK WAS NOT AT ANY REGISTER NOR WAS THEY DOING ANY WORK! All they did was stand around & talk !!!!! Remind you i went & got a few things to eat for me & my kids , as I'm gathering my last few items i went to checkout !! Nobody was STANDING AT THE FRONT REGISTER SO I DID SELF CHECKOUT , my daughter had ALREADY RUNG UP 2 items , she's 8 ! She just had the items sitting on the counter, i told her to " put them in the bag " ! I rung the rest of my items up & begin to leave , the Karen approached me & said " she didn't think all my items rung up. I told her " had you being doing your job , you would've known i checked everything out correctly ! I instantly asked for a refund & she only said " the light flashed when an item was not checked out . I said how would you know if you not doing your job ? So after she gave me a refund she just had the STUPIDEST LOOK ON HER FACE & gone say " I'm just doing my job , sorry . As i was leaving a white gentleman went to checkout as well & do you think she stopped him ? No ! I will never visit BRADSTOWN DG EVER AGAIN ! I was humiliated & racially profiled ! Dollar General do better with hiring these weird ssa ppl ! Definitely will be contacting CORPORATE SOON !!

Way to many empty shelves. No coffee filters, no plastic silverware, no paper plates, it was ridiculous.

Today was the first time I ever enjoyed stopping at this Dollar General. I frequent the store because of location but not because of the cleanliness, great prices, merchandise or customer service. Usually store is over picked, aisle bare or minimal, stock is on racks in the middle of the aisle and just overall a gloomy and dreary feeling.However, today was different. I walked into this great display table that was cohesive in design, 1/2 off + organized and def caught my eye. So much so that I went back twice.I would like to recogonize Tamara for her iniative, marketing ability, sales and overall friendliness. She just upsold your store 150%. Tracy was very friendly as well. The ladies worked well together.
