(repost from facebook since im blocked haha) honestly this is one of the most unprofessional businesses i have ever seen and treat their customers terribly. my boyfriend happened to run across their mercari page, and saw a ps2 insert for sale for a game he has. mind you, it is not a manual, it’s just an insert. they were selling it for $10 and he nicely asked them if they would consider selling it to him for $5, because the insert in question has been on sale for 5 MONTHS with no offers. after commenting, the owner messaged him privately and told him that his offer was “rude” and “offensive” and when my bf went to message him back, he found out that he had been BLOCKED. i went to this google page to find out he is not the only person this has happened to and the owner is just continuously rude to them. to PAYING CUSTOMERS. my bf himself has spent hundreds of dollars there and was planning on trading them thousands worth of video games, but it’s safe to say neither of us will be returning. when i went to their fb page to investigate, i saw that they were having a sale for 50% OFF A BUNCH OF EXPENSIVE ITEMS. so naturally i was pretty dumbfounded after seeing this and commented to ask what the deal was. i am not joking you, i was blocked within the minute of commenting. idk ab anyone else but this is definitely not the kind of business i want to support that treats their customers like this and i just wanted to give a heads up to anyone that wishes to purchase from them in the future that if you ask for a lower offer on anything, you might be shunned ??
edit: imagine owning a business and behaving like a high school student ? his response to honest reviews just further proves my point ahahahaha

Beware, this shop will block you on facebook if you comment on a post with the actual value of a card they are selling. Buyers, please, please do research on a card's value before throwing $600 away on a card worth $200 topps. My post wasn't rude, I told them it was a nice card, but comps for way less. Instead of replying to my comment they blocked me. My son and I will never shop there again.

Very neat store! Made a random stop on a day trip to WV. Huge selections of comic books, collectibles, video games, new and used records. A classic hobby shop with friendly and helpful staff. If I'm ever back in Ashland I'll happily check it out again.

Bought 3 gameboy games for 35 dollars and was offered 18 dollars for them. Refused to give me even the amount I was trying to exchange. Service sucks.

So I go in today to try to either trade or sell for store credit 10 PlayStation 3 games that are in great shape and works perfectly. No scratches on any of the games and all had the original cases with game inserts inside. Cases were perfect condition. And not to mention all 10 games are the most popular games for PS3. I picked out 2 ps3 games that totaled $27. The lady at the counter took each and every game held it to the light and said, oh I'm sorry we can't take these ones because there is a pin dot scratch on the "top" of the disk in the paint. This absolutely has no effect on the game being played or the way it functions. It literally was a dot the size of a needle point. So I guess 4 of the 10 games had these pin dot scratches on the top of the games so it left 6 to trade with. She said that she had to contact the owner to see if he could do it. He messaged back and said there was no way he could do that. Ok so you couldn't give me store credit for $27 on 6 games on your shelves that totaled over $100 in the same used condition? WOW Buddy, I think maybe you've been suplexed one too many times by lady behind the counter. And why must everyone in the store be so rude? Everyone would be better off buying your games online. Stay sassy time wart! Ha ha ha

Really nice store with some really friendly staff. Also prices for video game collectors are some of the best I have seen. I'm sorry I'm not in the Ashland area more often to pop in and see what new stuff finds it way in.

The customer service is great. This is my favorite place to get table top books, and MTG cards. They also seem fair with pricing of retro video games too.

Time Warp Ashland is always doing something special with sports athletes especially from the world of professional wrestling. They have amazing meet & greets and it's well worth your time to go see some the legends that come to Time Warp of Ashland, Kentucky.
