The owner Mr.Butch was very helpful and knowledgeable. My pick up was not working properly due to its transmission not going into gear. Another local shop suggested that I needed a new transmission and a new converter. At Butch Auto Center the mechanics did a extensive troubleshooting on my vehicle and advised me that the only part needed was a converter and that the transmission was still good. I'm so lucky to come across Butchs Auto Center. They are good people and very fair!! It's rare when you find shop that really helps you out instead of just trying to sell you parts and make you waste money in vain. Thank you Mr. Butch!!! I would definitely recommend this shop 100%!!!!

We have 3 vehicles that we have taken to butch to fix and all 3 come back with problems . 2003 Ford Explorer kept for 5 months setting , the motor had gone out pit a motor in with 81,000 miles\nOur 2003 Ford Explorer set the freezing cold\nWithout being driven so all the windows went out...quit, broke . Long story Butch stayed sick and his help could not do any warranty repairs because Butch wasn't there. We paid $260 .00 to fix the drivers side Window got it back and the back windows didn't\nWork..the hatch window still doesn't work this has been going on for 16 mos.

My car’s trunk wasn’t operate right and the body trim was falling down. I looked online and saw Butch Auto got great reviews so I went straight to them. They fixed my car right away and told me I can bring my new part in and let them put it on next time didn’t charge me anything. Next time I went in they spend like an hour to fix it and did an awesome job! Only charging me 40 dollars! Butch and his buddy drake they are great guys and friendly. Definitely recommend to anyone who needs help.Services: Body & Trim

This is the only mechanic I will ever go to from now on. These guys do an amazing job at a great price. And most importantly they are TRUSTWORTHY. There aren’t many people I’d trust a vehicle with but at Butch’s I hand them the keys to the truck and I don’t even think about it again until they call me to come pick it up. Butch took my call first thing in the morning. I said I was traveling from Michigan pulling a horse trailer with 4 horses on board and I was in desperate need of front brakes on my pick up. I had been at the truck stop 9 miles away all night already and when everyone else around either didn't answer or return calls or couldn't do the work, Butch heard my dilemma and said let me check if I can get the parts today, if so I'll get you done todayHe called me back in less than 2 minutes and said come on down. It'll probably take about 2 - 3 hours. I got there within 15 minutes, the front wheels were off my truck within 10 minutes and the truck was being assessed. He called the parts dealer and my parts were delivered within another 10 minutes. Both front brakes and rotors were done in and I was back on the road within an hour and a half of pulling into his lot!! His service was top notch and his price was much less than I expected. Especially since he and his mechanic stopped working on TWO other vehicles to accommodate me and my horses. If your ever traveling around Ashland, KY and need an amazing, unexpected garage then I wouldn't recommend anyone else than Butch@ Butch's Auto Sevice!!
