Our community library is a beautiful Carnegie Library with a cozy atmosphere and plenty of space to browse, relax, and take in the historic details of the building. Head downstairs to find a delightful children's area with a whimsical, full-wall mural and small stage area for make-believe and story time, as well as tables and plenty of nooks to settle down with a good book or participate in Summer Reading Program activities. Step outside and enjoy a green lawn and a shaded gazebo for outdoor relaxation or reading as you enjoy the quiet charm of our Historic Town Square. Our library is a must-see if you're in town - just follow the red brick streets to find this gem of a building nestled behind large shade trees and a lovely book return box featuring handpainted sunflowers. Take a stroll to nearby businesses on the square, such as the Woodson County Chamber of Commerce, antiques. boutiques. & sweets., Cornerstone Bakery, and Glass House Floral & the Market 54+75 Boutique and Gift Shop.
