Unfortunately, this store has steadily declined. (The exception is the pharmacy, which is excellent )
Basic grocery items are routinely out for weeks at a time.
The "update" left the household and office, and kitchen sections decimated.
Produce is a disaster. Packaged items are mismarked or not marked at all. Bananas and a few other loose items, which were previously scannable, are now not.
Most of the staff is still friendly, but then there's the few that are...not, especially today's winner.
When the bananas did not scan, I set them aside as while I'm willing to scan and bag my groceries to save time, I don't work there and I'm not taking my extra time to look up items that are generally marked. I typically leave them and buy items elsewhere.
Dude began looking them up while lecturing me on how I "can just look them up.". He was clearly annoyed.
Yes, and WALMART could just , I don't know, mark them with a readable barcode or expect that staff , who actually DO work there, will have to look them up.
This is a pretty decent neighborhood grocery store. I generally shop here when I cannot purchase a product at Aldi.
The staff is usually a bit distracted, but quite friendly. The selection is decent, the prices are a little more than Aldi and a lot less than Dillons, and everything appears clean.

Store is being remodeled, October 2024. Nice and convenient if you are close by. The parking lot was full of people driving down the wrong side, this is America not an English colony any longer. I think the selection of items is a little more limited here. Nice staff though and quick in and out.

The manager, alledgedly called Jarrod/Jarod, seems to think it is highly amusing to move the kart of an almost 60yr old disabled woman. He made up an ellaborate nonsense story of why. Nobody is believing it. It was deliberate. But its all good, I just got off of the phone with several of my ex work colleagues & friends @ Fort Polk. As they said, a grown man laughing in the face or the widow of a dead USC Marine, he's a star. If ever we are in that neck of the woods we'll make a point of going in with our uniforms to get a selfie with Jarrod. A real proud moment for the families of dead Military everywhere!!!! Forget us, he's the real hero!!!!

Parking lot is in terrible condition. Inside smells like paint and chemicals and they moved everything so now good luck finding what you are looking for. The new checkout lanes suck too. I will make the longer drive somewhere else from now on.

Please FiX your parking lot. My cart fell on one of the concrete wholes and I pushed the cart to get it out and I hit my lower leg and got me a bruise. 😡

They always have their stockers stocking during the day always in the way of shoppers. I don't know why they can't stock during closed hours or early in the morning or late in the evening when traffic isn't as heavy so annoying.
