Terrible place. Our beautiful dog was misdiagnosed and then we were told all negative outcome for him and we let that so-called vet kill him only to find out to late they were wrong. WHY are they there? They do not care for you or your pet. O that's right the MONEY. Have never seen so many RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL people and really the people there are clueless about veterinary medicine. Hope that murder Lofgreen is gone!!!To late for our sweet dog his last hours were in horror and being so scared, was not allowed to be with him!! How dare them treat pets and people that way? Yes we were there in answer to your reply because we have our DEAD dog and your Bill to prove it. What's a matter when people give you a truthful reviews are you trying to to lie?

Gloria is so helpful and friendly. The prices are reasonable. The Doctor is great! Would recommend them always!

Very kind staff. It's apparently the only one left that is open after hours. Really nice facility. I appreciate the doctor and staff in my time of need. Definitely recommend.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the facility and employees. They immediately met me and took my dog to the back. They kept me updated and gave me options. They also answered all of my questions.

FALSE ADVERTISING! How do you advertise as the ONLY emergency vet in Wichita and then tell us that the vet is leaving the hospital in 20 minutes (around 11pm) and won't be back until 8am (which happens to coincide with when normal vets open and won't charge an arm and a let for "emergency" fees)!?!?! How is that 24/7 is advertised on your website when it's false?Forcing people to drive 2+ hours to KSU or Blue Pearl or watch their pet suffer? I love my pet like family and it's a shame that places like this exist and play on the hearts of pet parents in Wichita.

I signed in online for the wait-list so that my dog could be seen at a little after 12:00 P.M. on 02/11/24. I called at 2:30 P.M. to make sure that I was properly checked in and they confirmed that I was. I called at 4:30 P.M. to get an estimate on how much longer it would be for my dog to get checked in and they told me that he was next and they would text me when it was time to head that way. It has now been twelve hours and I never heard back from them and my dog was never seen.

While the office lady was nice, I felt the doctor was cold and just let us out without actual care for our dog, I wish it wasn’t expensive getting X-rays for the animals who seriously need it and has affordable options. Sadly, my dog passed away few hours after coming here and even with the pain meds given didn’t help, things could have been different I feel. The doctor told us it wasn’t “serious” but obviously it sadly was despite without the x rays. Like another comment here, they gave us “false hope”. She didn’t even get a bandage or anything for where she broke her leg. I honestly wish we went somewhere else who would actually be affordable and actually willing to help the owners and their Pets. But just like the medical industry for us humans, it’s always for business.

They took my pet back very quickly to be assessed. They were able to successfully diagnose and treat my pet. I'm glad I have a place to go in an emergency situation.

This is the THIRD time I’ve tried using this facility. My dog came in with extreme breathing problems. Over 4.5 hours of being here with no update and my dog sitting in the back. When I finally asked for an update, they said he hadn’t been seen yet. My dog, unable to breathe, sitting in a kennel somewhere for over 4.5 hours? I’m a nurse in an ER and can say that I’ve never waiting this long to see anyone with breathing issues. Also, the other 2 times was for my other pet with a brain tumor. They diagnosed him with severe anxiety TWICE! And loaded him up with pain meds just to have to visit my regular vet in the morning. If your pets needs immediate help, you’d probably have better luck driving to a different state with a better staffed and competent team.

Place was a nightmare. They were quick to take in my wounded dog and get him assessed in the early evening. They ran multiple x-rays which only needed one to tell that his leg had been broken. They barely took care of his pain and manhandled him all over the office. Total bill for the visit was over $2200 and he went home the next morning with a simple bandage covering his wounds and a splint in place to hold him over until he could get in to see the actual vet almost a whole week later.

Our cat recently had to have surgery here (he had an obstruction) and I cannot express the kindness, quality, and quickness to address his health issues. He is recovering fantastically. They assisted me with everything to make sure I understood all the fees, which was incredibly transparent. I loved I knew how much we needed for his medical emergency that way our family could plan accordingly. The hospital is very clean, organized, and easy to find when using a GPS. They communicate well through phone, text, and have an easy App to navigate. The wait time was not long at all, they are considerate of your time.Thank you VCA for saving his life!
