I am a resident of Newport Apartments, I was definitely pleased with my stay here especially because it is what I was looking for, a cozy, quiet and safe place. But unfortunately the security system is not good at all because I was the victim of a robbery in the parking lot and my car was opened. and they took all my documents and although I already made the report to the police I did not have any response from the office. There is supposed to be security monitoring here at night and it is not safe at all. I no longer feel confident. Well, I don't know. If it will happen again, although, they didn't even leave me an identification, they took everything, what happened to me is very strong...

I was a resident at Case & Associates' Newport Apartments for several years (IIRC late 2018 or early 2019 to late 2022) and to say my experience with them was abysmal would be an understatement. Their security gates constantly broke and were generally a hassle to deal with. The landscaping had dramatically declined over the course of the years I lived there, the lawns looking more like an empty lot next to Walmart than a welcoming residential environment. Their security company tried towing my NEW vehicle because it had a temporary license plate, without anyone first contacting me about it to clarify the situation. The scariest incident though was when my rent deposit bounced because the card it normally came out of had gotten frozen; I'd recently traveled at the time and unbeknownst to me the card had gotten flagged, which to be fair the card company didn't contact me about either. It happened so fast, I had NO KNOWLEDGE that my rent deposit had bounced until some absolute louse of a Newport Apartments representative called me halfway through the month and said something along the lines of, "Your, uh, rent deposit bounced and, uh, we need the money now or, uh, evictions go out this weekend." Why did nobody contact me as soon as the deposit had bounced so we could have gotten it resolved LONG before I risked being HOMELESS? The outrageous condition of Newport Apartments does not give them the entitlement to treat its residents so apathetically. Unfortunately it seems that Case & Associates has a monopoly on apartment complexes in Wichita's west side, so I don't know how similarly each division is run but if possible I would STRONGLY recommend exploring other options before settling for a Case & Associates property, ESPECIALLY Newport Apartments.

I have lived here 7 years and enjoying everyday that apt. living provides. No grass to cut. Nothing to repair just life uncomplicated. A lake, pool , gym,walking area.
