One of the best customer service experiences of my life, Kristen waited on us and we were purchasing buy one get one 50% off and we wanted one more package to get the deal, but they didn't have it in the size we needed. She said she could order it for us and have it sent to the store to get the discounted price. She placed the order for us, no problem. When we left I remarked to my husband, "That's the way you do customer service."

I checked in and waited at the curbside pickup location for half an hour, but I was not handed the item I ordered. So I went inside to pick up my order. The store was completely empty. Two staffs were chatting among themselves at the pickup counter. I was not greeted at all, and I had to grab their attention. Overall, I had a horrible experience.

Bought two rings on Black Friday. Had to have them shipped to get my size. It's been issues ever since. The prongs have broken and the stone has gone out twice. Tried to return it due to poor quality and despite having purchased the lifetime warranty they want to send it again for repair. Last time it took three months. I will never buy another piece of jewelry from. JC Penny.

My husband and I when shopping for jeans my husband 6 ft 8 and hard to find clothes for a wonderful super worker stopped what he was doing to help us after mass hunting ,he ask so sweet if we need them today , we laughed and said no ,so he guided us to the catalog dept and helped us trust me we are both in our 60s and don't buy clothes alot , and jeans have changed so much about 30 mins or so later he walked us thru everything, totally so helpful and God knows very professional , we personally love to give Ian a big shout our you make our shopping easy and very enjoyable, this young man when above and beyond his job , thank you so much and I have to amount I have always had fears about malls and he treated us like we was only ones in store so jcpennys Ian is a blessing to your store and for sure us thank you so much Craig and Rose Ritchter

Do not buy jewelry here. I bought a gold chain in October, by Jan it was unraveling. I purchased the warranty, they sent it off and it came back in a month seemingly fixed. Two weeks pass and it’s unraveling in another spot. Now they want to send it off again when it’s obviously a problem with the way it was made. Gold chains should not unravel and break within 4 months if properly made.

One girl was very sweet and professional,she helped a lot,her name Grace.And other girl,african- American at the beauty register did not put all of my merchandise in y bag, forgot one item on a register,and when at home we did not find it and I call to the JC penny,she said yes,she has it,but never apologise.

I was walking through the store a couple of yrs ago, and a piece of jewelry caught my eye, Donald, the sales associate was absolutely delightful while helping me.Last year my daughter turned 13, and wanted a cross necklace, again, Donald was patient and friendly. When I mentioned that my daughter would probably never take the necklace off, he pointed out how dainty the chain is- and helped me find a thicker chain that was the right length for a 13 yr old girl. I was on a budget, so he made sure to find a sale item as well! Talk about empathy, and going above and beyond!My daughter absolutely loves her necklace- and has only taken it off once in 8 months!I have been meaning to write this review for a while now- I hope Donald is still there, and a manager will let Donald know he is an excellent employee!If there by chance happens to be 2 Donald's in the jewelry department, he is the one who is 20-30 yrs old (hard to tell) and he's a black guy who has braided hair.Donald if you happen to read this- you are a kind soul, and your ability to connect with people is a gift. God bless you young man.
