If I could give 0 stars I would. I rented a unit here for one month. Every time I came to the property, multiple storage units were obviously broken into, vandalized, belongings stolen and strewn about in everywhere on the roads inside the property. On at least 6 days that I visited, different units were broken into each time, including my own the last day. The only functional security cameras are at the gates of the property and have very few units in view. Wichita Police have said break ins here are a daily occurrence and the thieves will cut through the walls or ceiling to steal people’s stuff if they cannot cut the locks or bend the metal locking slide bar to break in as they did with mine. If you value your stuff, don’t rent here!

So far I'm not very pleased with public storage. I've already had a couple of issues and its like nobody cares. What happened to the days where people actually went and worked in person, instead of dealing with someone remotely. They get zero stars from me. Unfortunately I have to give 1 star. But its still zero

I reserved a small unit but when the day came there were no small units available. I then had to pay double what I was quoted just to move my stuff in. Luckily, the property manager was nice and helped me as much as possible. I also like that it’s self serving.

The receptionist is super friendly but there is hardly anyone here. I need to make my payment and I want a printed receipt. I don't want to do it online. I want to talk to a person standing in front of me and pay and get my receipt. That way I am on camera paying my in case there is ever a question. It is a good place very clean but there actually needs to be someone in the office during office hours.

I rented one storage unit March 2024. I put everything I needed in my unit. Today April 19, 2024 Friday I get alerted from my bank account they withdrew two separate transactions for one month. I called and on the phone with the Representative ( there was no one in the office) I was looking at my Bank account for last month and they charged my card for two units on line? The representative could not refund my money immediately for their Mishap and now they owe me around $100!! I have to wait for these people to “ look into it”??? I’m the Customer and now I’m waiting for them to give me my money back? So. While I’m Waiting I’ll be reporting them to the Consumer Protection Division at the Attorney Generals Office and Better Business Bureau! They also were calling me from the “ MacArthur” storage unit about Payment at that location? I straightened out after some Kristina called my number twice and left two voicemails about payment, ( I knew I had Automatic Payment)she couldn’t remember calling me 30 minutes earlier when I called back the first time!! This is exactly why you don’t want them to do Automatic Payments too!! Incompetent with your Money!!

There's hardly anyone in the office and the communication for this particular facility is not ideal, I was always transferred to the call center that isn't even Wichita!! I was super late with my payments at one time and paid the entire balance to keep my merchandise from being auctioned off, the next day I was told the lock had been removed so I can retrieve my property but I found out on a Sunday that the lock was still on it so I wasn't able to get my property because they were closed!!! So I rented a U-haul for nothing!!!!
