“Looks good, right? I mean, presentation is key, but I was left disappointed with the bread toasted bun. That brown is not chocolate, either its a vinger based topping. All in all, it wasn't horrible, but I would not order it again.”
“This La Quinta (on the north side of Wichita) is right off of I-35. Very convenient location, with a selection of food places, and stores, nearby, within walking distance. The room and bathroom were very clean, the beds comfortable. The lobby furniture is new and modern, the front desk service was very good. Breakfast was included, with various options, though no eggs the day we were there.”

“So I didn't stay at the hotel but I did try their restaurant and it has absolutely one of the best breakfast spots.. definitely try the potatoes and pancakes.
Food and drinks: The breakfast was awesome.”

Safety: The property was very well lit, and the lobby has key card access at night, and the alternative entrances all have card access.

“I travel to Wichita monthly. This is my go-to hotel of choice; clean, comfortable, and reliable. The staff are kind and responsive. My only complaint are the other guests. It's common to see families for soccer, softball, and basketball tournaments. Sometimes they're disruptive and that can be annoying, but I'll still choose this location to the other places I have stayed at here in Wichita.”
“Stayed for 1 night with my kids as we were passing through KS. Easily accessible as it's right off the highway. Many close restaurants close by. The breakfast room (though very hot in temperature despite the tower fan/AC unit in the corner; seriously, everyone who walked into that room commented how hot it was in there) was kept very clean, the food was good and plentiful. The reason this place doesn't get a full 5 stars from me is for a couple of reasons.
1. I honestly didn't think to ask about availability of an infant crib when I booked it as I've never run into a hotel/motel that didn't have the option! When I checked in, I requested an infant crib or pack n play for my room and the front desk attendant informed we they did not have any... at all! Needless to say, we had to get very creative in a pinch as we had no other choice.
2. The room stunk like wet, dirty clothes in a hamper. That's the best way I can describe it. It was gross when walking in that even my 7 & 9yr olds commented about the room's smell. On top of that, the housekeeping could have been more thorough. I found a razor cartridge for a man's razor on the floor next to the nightstand. A crawling baby or kids with no shoes on - could have ended badly had I not found it first.
The decor was updated. The mattress was comfortable. The water pressure was good. The pool was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Oh, and a rollaway bed is not complimentary- it'll cost you an additional $10. I'm not honestly sure if that's standard or not. Just noting it.
The biggest issue is if you are traveling with a baby, you need to find somewhere where they can have a safe place to sleep. Funny enough, there was 1 high chair in the breakfast area, so it's not like they don't expect babies at all??”

The breakfast was great for the price, was included in the room purchase.
The morning desk gal was very friendly and had some interesting facts about the area.

“Hotel was clean and nicely decorated. The biggest draw for this particular location was the staff. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE we talked to was the nicest hotel staff member we'd ever encountered. They were so accommodating and kind and really made us feel comfortable and like they truly cared. The location was great and they offered a hot breakfast. Highly recommended!!!!”

“I had an incredibly satisfying stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Wichita Downtown. The staff was exceptionally friendly and made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. The building itself was immaculate and maintained a high standard of cleanliness throughout. I also felt very safe during my stay, which is always a top priority. One of the highlights was the amazing pool that overlooks the edge of the building—truly a unique experience! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Wichita.”
“Great place to stay, lovely front desk attendees. Fabulous breakfast! I have only one negative comment, they put a hold on Credit card for deposit, which isn't unusual but they didn't take off at check out, I asked them if I needed to remind them, He said no its automatic. But it went thru anyway and took several days to be credited back to Credit card. Ugh Said they would Credit back $200 but was only $150! No room damage! Room was clean!”

“Was staying over due to a car breakdown. Staff had us sit in the lobby from noon until after 6pm instead of just staying in our comfortable room for a “ late” checkout.It was not that busy.Food & drinks: This hotel was great, except before the breakfast hours were over, the staff was vacuuming, wiping tables, taking things off the tables 20-30 minutes before breakfast time was over. Very unprofessional.”

“If you are looking for a long stay(or short) this is definitely the place to stay in town. The hotel is awesome, rooms are spacious. Our King Bed suite was spacious for my family of 4. When the kids were asleep in bed we were able to shut the door and relax in the separate living room. The social hour dinner on Mon-Wed was awesome. The breakfast was different every morning. I want to HIGHLIGHT the AMAZING customer service of YANNI and ANDREW. They were both polite and helpful when I had questions about my reservation, even previous to booking. Throughout my stay they always greeted me coming in and asked if I needed any help. 11/10 Stay, definitely recommend.
Only Con is the pool sits in the shade past 3-4 P.M, so unless it is hot hot outside the pool might be chilly.

The location was ideal, close to local attractions and dining options, yet quiet enough for a restful night. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which offered a great variety of options to start the day.

“The room was small. But for the price I didn't expect a big room. They are pet friendly our dogs liked that. And the bed is a little too high off the floor, but extremely comfortable! Best motel bed ever. We liked it.

“The hotel is in the good part of town, close to everything and in a high end quiet and safe neighborhood. Hotel is very well maintained and everything is very modern as well as premium. It has probably the fanciest lobby I’ve ever seen in a Hilton. Nice large rooms as well as bathroom. The only con was that it took the front desk quite a few min to come to the desk and check us in but everything else absolutely did the trick for me. The rate was very good as well.”
“The hotel and staff were great! The room we got was perfect. We had the handicap accessible with roll-in shower room. It had 2 queen beds in it and there was a ton of room in the room. I could not have asked for anything better. The location was not bad. The hotel was about 10 minutes from restaurants and stores. There are a good amount of restaurants right by the hotel. This hotel is a great choice for a room to stay at. Will be back next time we are back in Wichita.”

“We came in from out of town and we stayed here at the red roof in and it was clean and affordable.the service was great! The only few down falls was no breakfast (kitchen is closed ) and no swimming pool .we will stay here if we come back.
