What a joke! From the employees to the “sale prices.” They are delusional. Luckily we found the same couches for less than HALF of what Hortons was selling theirs for.

The prices for the going out of business sale are unreal. Beautiful area rugs of all sizes were 70% off last week.

I absolutely understand why they’re going out of business after walking through today. It’s the kohls business model - cheap, particle board and foam sofas with $14,000 price tags! No branding or model descriptions, just tags with basic descriptions and an ‘X’ through the $14k price point and a “no lower!” Price point of $12k. Again, on furniture that is equivalent to something you could pickup at Costco for $800. Add to that a herd of commission starved sales people screaming they’ll cut a deal. Seems they’ve ran dry of folks who believe 65 percent off of $14k on a nameless piece of furniture is a good deal.

Nice furniture, staff helpful, but prices very high. Very limited inventory of loveseats. Most are only sold as a set with a sofa, & that's when you get a discount.Competitor Slumberland has better prices for Memorial Day sale

If I could give negative stars I absolutely would. The manager at this place is one of the lowest pieces of human I've ever dealt with. This place makes promises of delivery and doesn't own up to them. When you call, the manager's only solution is to refund the entire amount of your purchase to make you go away. He doesn't try to take the time to come up with a solution to the problem. He just tries to give your money back and not do business. Horton's has been there for over 70yrs my family has done business with them before and they were always pleasant and willing to make sure the customer is taken care of. With management like this, no wonder they are going out of business. DON'T GO HERE!!!!Update: I picked it up myself. I asked to speak with the manager in person. He was "busy". Not surprised. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Staff completely ignored me when I came in. Never checked on me or even greeted me. Completely ignored my boyfriend and I. They even went up to other couples and offered their help. I would give 0 stars if Google let me tbh.

I do not put a 1 for the kindness of the salespeople, I do not put a 1 for the quality of the furniture. I do put a 1 here for the overly inflated prices that they actually put on their going out of business tags. $8,000.00 plus for a sofa? Only to lower it to yet another inflated $5,000.00 plus price tag.Be honest right away, just be honest. The truth on the sofa I saw is probably that on the high end, it might have been $1,500 to $2,000.00, but for a true sale price should have had something like $999.00 on it.I have looked online for a sofa online that has a price tag of $8,000.00... You guessed it, could not find itBe honest right away, just be honest.

Nice selection. Can find things different from those same things the other furniture shops carry. Too bad they're closing.

I bought my complete office furniture set in Oct. 2019. Within a year one corner of the desk started to show where it had been repaired. I should have but didn't fuss. Now four plus years later three drawer handle pulls have broken. The drawers are approx. 1/4 loaded with files, so they are not heavy. Horton's, Wichita Ks, where I purchased from, offers no help. Saying replacements are not available. The "pulls" are a special size, so now I'm stuck with an expensive set without handles. I will never buy from HORTONS or ASPEN HOMES again. BUYER BEWARE!

This review is based on their online and phone service and not their products. I am convinced that Horton's is too busy saying "no" to potential customers instead of saying "yes". I was trying to buy a lift chair for my mother in Mulvane, although I live out of state.First, I sent a request through their online chat and it asked me for my zip code. I entered it and it came back basically saying, "Sorry, you don't live in our service area".Then, I sent an email asking for a call back at a specific time from a sales rep about a lift chair for my mother, who lives nearby. The consultant emailed me back saying that, "Yes, they have lift chairs and to call back and specifically ask for her"! OK, but I asked you to call me!A few days later I decided to call back as hadn't heard anything. The receptionist asks me a multitude of questions and then sees I am from out of state and stops me midsentence to say they do not deliver out of state. I tell her that this is for my mother in Mulvane and I know they deliver there. Why on earth would I but something two states away and expect it to be delivered to me!!! She is snotty so I tell her there are other furniture stores in Wichita.Horton's, you make it too hard to buy from you!

Marlene was amazing. She is so knowledgeable about furniture, how it’s made, how it wears, and how people live with it over the years. You won’t feel any pressure and they will give you plenty of time to make a decision. We purchased a theater love seat and couch. The half-price labor day sale is definitely worth it. We were able to bring them home the same day. Delivery is reasonable too.
