I had been searching for Sid dickens tiles forever and finally stumbled across Traditions. The ladies in the store were so kind and helpful. They had tons more options then these. The ladies even showed me their retired collection in the back of their store! So helpful and will definitely return again!

Amazing and beautiful pieces, all fantastic and well made lines. This is one of the easiest and best ways to find Stressless Recliners online. I come here for any home design need. Thanks!

One of my favorite pastimes is just walking through Traditions. So much to see and soak up... lots of great ideas. Love their Holiday decor...one of a kind items...The furniture is and always has been superb quality. I have several pieces from Traditions that I've picked up over the years. Salespeople allow you to feel at home and aren't pushy. If you want darling unique items that speak to the heart, this is the place. (Also there's one in Overland Park too, so adorable!) love love love this store!!!

Very disappointed in the quality here. I purchased a sofa via a client I was working with. They decided to pay $1800 for a sofa at Traditions as opposed to their $600 runner up at Ashleys. It sat in their home for 2 weeks and they noticed several issues with it. These were issues I have seen in very low end furniture so I contacted Traditions and they asked for cushion covers to analyze. They agreed there was an issue and the only thing they could do is offer their cost on replacement cushion covers. From a local designers position, I will not be buying from this company ever again, nor will be recommending them to any client.

Have always like this place. Very cool store and they rotate the stuff they have. Just went in today, just for something small. They really helped me out and wrapped it nicely. Check it out during Christmas.

It is so refreshing to find a store that appreciates quality and timely elegance. If you are an Ikea fan, this is not the store for you. The staff is helpful and friendly and the furniture is of high quality and yet is affordable.

I visited Traditions Furniture and decided to make a purchase. They offer high-end, expensive, brand name furniture and in my opinion, some of the store's staff conveys this in an uppity kind of way. I ignored it because I really liked this one item. It took a while to complete the paperwork as I had lived out of state at the time, and so the paperwork and down payment was completed 2 weeks later, but only because I called them. They did not call me. That should have been my first clue regarding the very poor customer service. I was told that the this single piece of furniture should arrive in 8-10 weeks from the date of purchase, but that 10 weeks is a conservative time estimate in the event of a delay which seemed typical to me for furniture manufacturing and delivery. I moved to the area two weeks before the expected arrival and was excited to receive it so I could finish setting up the house. Well I received a phone message informing me that delivery would be at 11 weeks. Then I was told delivery would be at the beginning of the 12th week as promised by the manager. Now I am looking at a delivery at 3 months after purchase. How did I find out? The delivery guy called me and told me when he could deliver it. For the inconvenience, I have received free delivery which I do not recall discussing a delivery fee in the first place, and I have a "little something" waiting for me when I visit again which will be never. Note that I had purchased a sofa from a privately owned furniture store which is right down the road 2-3 weeks prior. The leather that I chose for the sofa was running short at the manufacturer. We were told it would also be delayed. The service I received from this furniture store was outstanding and I was contacted on a regular basis regarding the status of the sofa. When the manufacturer said the sofa was ready, but they had to wait for the truck to fill up before transporting it, the furniture store owner told them to make a special delivery because we had been waiting long enough. Our sofa was supposed to arrive around 4 months after purchase, but it was delivered weeks earlier thanks to the persistence of the owner and staff. Oh, and did I mention they have free delivery? I have written a 5-star review for this furniture store on Yelp. Knowing this, I believe there was a lot more that the staff at Traditions could do to act on my behalf and fulfill the terms that they communicated to me. I am part of a "transient community" just north of Derby that has a good relationship with the surrounding communities and their leadership. I will not recommend Traditions Furniture to newcomers of our community based on my personal experience.

Why buy exactly what the mannequin is wearing or what's featured in a catalog? I get and actually appreciate that traditional home furnishings have a particular look, but I believe there is room for some variety within the traditional rules. You won't find that here. But it's a great place to shop for specific brands and if you want your home to look and feel a certain way, that I call faux status. The showroom feels a bit like the furniture market, with lots of overstuffed merchandise on display but few ideas or nuggets for inspiration. Despite the mediocre banality that is Traditions, there's a strong superior attitude that permeates the place, stemming from the decorators who are quick to rule on who is worthy of their time, gauged of course by what they think one might be willing to spend. The biggest downside is that based on my multiple experiences on the showroom floor, it's hard to believe the decorators are even capable of creating the kind of warm environment that makes a house a home. Its store across the street, also called Traditions, is primarily a furniture store that carries Stickley and other traditional lines.
