Overprice- I had a small surgery at another hospital. After the surgery, I received a bill for nearly $700 that I did not know about for sample testing. I was surprised because of the price of the test and also they took a sample to check but never inform me. I felt scam.

I sent them a money order (as I was asked to do- they refused to take cash or card payment and now I see why) 2 months later they sent me a bill for $200. Dillons told me my money order was cashed in December 6th yet this place tells me they haven’t received it and I still owe them? Horrible unethical practice. If you go through them make sure you keep all your receipts and be ready to fight for your rights.

This facility was never authorized to perform any services for me. I'm a cash paying patient. They offer no cash discount nor accept care credit. No one called to say they were doing a pathology, or provided an estimate. I received a bill totaling more than 10x what two other facilities billed me for the same service. This bill was due one day after I received it. I am currently checking into litigation services.

Very friendly workers, knowledgeable and able to find my veins with ease. Would recommend getting lab work done here! Walk-ins are welcome which helped make my process a breeze!

I Love this Pathology Group. They are diligent and kind. For as busy as they are they really care about the people and clinics they are serving. Im truly lucky to have their team on my families team. Thank you for doing your best.

Trent and Candi are very good at what they do. A few times I’ve been here, they’ve been busy, but they try to get everything done as quickly and efficiently as they possibly can.

My daughter has had lab work done at Heartland Pathology several times. It is convenient to her doctor's office. Last year we changed insurance companies. The new insurance was through Ambetter. We checked the Ambetter website to see if Heartland Pathology was in the network and it was. So we used the lab and they said Ambetter would not pay. After many, many discussions with the Heartland Pathology manager, he admitted that they were on Ambetter's list and they paid for the claim. He told us if we had this problem in the future to come to him. It happened again the next time and we had a very hard time getting him to respond, but again he said he would look into it. The next thing we got was a letter from a collection agency! We had been waiting to hear back from him on the resolution. Had he contacted us, we would have appealed to Ambetter. They do good lab work but the billing is deceitful. We will not be using them again.

To start off there are signs on the door that state that masks must be worn. As a healthcare provider myself I have no problem with wearing a mask when it’s posted. While waiting for my labs to be drawn I observed 3 staff at this facility not wearing a mask at all and 1 not wearing it properly (not covering nose). This office is small and has only 4 chairs in their waiting area with no spacing. There were also some chairs in the hall outside the office that did allow for social distancing. The wait seemed longer than should have been compared to other places like Labcorp and AMS. When I finally got pulled back to the back for my labs it was a student from WTI that did not introduce themselves and did not seem confident in what they were doing. I personally have no problem with a student since I teach students all the time and they have to learn somehow but I feel that this student should have been supervised due to their lack of confidence. The student was unsuccessful, the tourniquet was not tight and they most likely went through the vein. Knowing that they were struggling the student went and got someone else who also did not introduce themselves. This second person started looking for veins and pressing around my arm without gloves while I was bleeding at the initial insertion attempt spot. I do not have any infectious diseases, but they did not know that and should have used standard precautions (gloves due to the blood exposure). When it was time to stick a second time they did put gloves on thankfully. I never saw them label the vial of blood in front of me which is common practice where I’ve worked and have had my labs drawn before.

The messed up tests twice and have the audacity to send for collections for non payment of $10.....First they mess up the tests and never send invoice, no call to request a payment. Not sure how they even stay in business. Medical society will informed will be involved.

I’ve had to come here countless times and they’ve always been fast, efficient, and kind. They’ve also been good about faxing the results to the doctors that I need to send my lab work to. I appreciate them being open early so that I can come in before work.
