While I didn't see a couple of hat styles I was originally looking for, this shop was impressive, and I came home with not one but three hats. Customer service was outstanding. They can also do wonders to ensure a good fit, which is a service you rarely find.

We drove from KC to see this shop. It was well worth the drive. This shop is an excellent example of a small business done right. It was refreshing to experience an extremely kind and knowledgeable staff. The manager was amazing. They clearly know their business and products. They were attentive with sizing and alterations. The selection was impressive. Shops like this give me hope that we may see a resurgence in quality vs. quantity, focused, mom-and-pop shops. The shop has been around since the 80s, and there’s a reason. We will be back! Cheers!!

an absolute treasure, tremendous resource and wichita icon. regardless of where you are in the country, if you are in the market for any type of quality headwear, this is the place.

We are now believers! Some say seeing is believing and after a recommendation from a friend to give Hatman Jack’s a try, we were amazed.
Great service. Quality hats. We bought 2 hats and a purse for under $70 and they helped customize them to our heads and reshaped one of the brims.
We will be shopping for hats here from now on.
(I must say, I was originally scared away by the idea of the price of these hats. It proved to be very affordable.)

Absolutely amazing people. Helped my husband find a hat and reshaped it completely to fit his needs. Also stretched my hat and reshaped another one of my husbands hats all in one day. Would recommend these guys to anyone looking for that more personal experience when looking for the perfect hat for you.

Today I went into the legendary Hatman Jacks for my first custom fit cowboy hat. I got the pleasure of working with Nicolette to find and shape my new hat. She was patient and helpful and even offered her opinion on what might look good for my new hat. She helped me find a great new cowboy hat and helped me pick out a different hat band to make it my own. An incredible experience and I will definitely be back for all my future hat purchases!
