We needed a short term solution for storage while completing renovations and moving. We found Prime Storage was affordable and convenient. The climate controlled facility was clean and secure, the provided flat bed carts made moving in / out a breeze, and the staff were always helpful and kind. We would definitely recommend Prime Storage to anyone looking for a great storage solution.

Update: When I called to give my notice today, I was told they could negotiate the rate IF I took this review down. This is SHADY business practices. Please save yourself the headache and rent ANYWHERE else.
I’ve only been here since August (it’s October) and they’ve already raised my rent $20 and charged me for insurance AGAIN. Such better places in Wichita for the same price, do yourself a favor and keep looking because this place will price gauge you out of here after two months.

Not my favorite place. Double the work to use facility plus when I rented the storage room the exit door was broken and I was told it would be repaired today. Well after 2 months and having the entrance breakdown and forced to use a side door to add or remove items. Then after the big inconvenience without receiving compensation for the inconvenience I was notified the rent was being raised to almost double the original figure. I have declined further rental of this unit, and suggest anyone considering this facility go elsewhere.

Nice unit, the garage doors to get inside the facility were out of order so we had to back out with a U-Haul truck, no fun. After move in, prices increased within the first two months of having it, not sure if just bad luck or typical experience. Would use again if needed, but not worth the increased price point.

Rent keeps going up and up for storage units. Both doors are broken leaving you to access through the emergency exits. No bathroom to use on site as it was locked. Moving out a.s.a.p. refuses to sign leases more that month to month double charges for insurance on unit... Be careful when renting from this company.

“At First” Great experience at the Wildcat Lane Extra Space. Now Prime Storage - Not so much, they constantly keep increasing the rent even when paid few months in advance, the carts keep disappearing, the staff will give a credit on month and double your increase the next… I’ve double: September 2023 my unit was $96. Today 9/14/24 I logged in to pay rent that is due on 10/14 : they want to Add $22.48 for insurance that I’ve already taken in my policy 5 Times and employees have scanned it in to my file AND my Oct 14 rent has jumped to $201. 100% INCREASE in a year!!!!
