Not even a one-star experience.
The young man you had working on 5/7/2024 around 1pm needs some additional customer service training. Not only did he wait until there was a line of around 15 people waiting to cash out to come assist, but he had a very rude demeanor and attitude toward his customers, the other cashier's customers, and his co-worker as well. Don't act like my money is too dirty to touch. Or like your co-worker (who was the only one manning the line before you showed up) is bothering you to ask a question. Or that other humans around you who are trying to help you understand the situation (because you let your venomous attitude close your ears and eyes) are beneath you. If you didn't like your situation, change it. Be grateful for what you have, no matter what it is, and don't take it or those around you for granted! He cost you several customers today and I will not be back myself! I don't like using self checkouts, but employees like him make it easier to do so!

A senior gentleman was vhecking out the whole store when he asked younger male employee to help. April 18th Thursday evening. The guy huffed and puffed and was disrespectful. He had been standing in the back doing nothing. What kind of store forces an elderly person to work hard and let some dirt bag twiddle his thumbs while people are trying to leave. That's senior abuse and should be reported. Disturbing.

Most of the shelves were empty. I couldn't find anything I needed, due to the fact that the shelves being empty, & I guess that's due to them not having enough employees to help get the shelves stocked up. So, no I just can not in good conscience recommend going to this Dollar Tree.?

The store is not well staffed for busy times and cashiers and other associates don't seem to notice when the line is getting long or they don't care. I've seen other people working on the floor who pay absolutely no attention to the amount of people waiting to be checked out. There were seven people in line and counting today and the cashier never once asked for backup. Maybe that's not what they do at Dollar tree, but it doesn't seem like a customer friendly way to run your business. I totally get being understaffed and busy but to not be able to even call up one more cashier to help check seems unreasonable if there are other associates working in the store. Dollar Tree either needs to treat their Associates better or hire people who are more customer oriented because they aren't representing you well. Or look at your policies and reevaluate where better practices need to come into play. Most of the time if you train and treat your people well they will serve you well. The company and management are always responsible for poor customer experience and poor team performance.

Great store. I went in there looking to buy makeup and self-care items. It was perfection, $1.25 for each product. I got home and tried out my makeup and it works scary well. I believe the service there was so polite. It was even well stocked even though it was morning and they had most of the stuff I wanted to try.
