Awful service. Waited 30 mins to turn a prescription in, 30 mins when I came to pick it up. Automated voice stating they had calls waiting and one guy running between the front counter and drive thru. Do you not pay well enough to find people to work here? You should as much as prescriptions are and our insurance forces us to come here!
They seriously cannot do anything right! I hate this pharmacy. I wish our insurance did not force us to use CVS!!!!
Nothing ever changes with this place! They are rude and I hate doing business with them! Their corporate people probably make lucrative deals with insurance companies because otherwise they wouldn't have any business. Snotty girl working the drive thru, not our fault you cannot read a prescription or clearly see we turned in two for two different people! Your recording states to put your address and birth date on the prescription. Try listening to it before you gripe at us and tell us we have to give it verbally! When not feeling well, do not need your rudeness!

If I could give this location less than one star I absolutely would. I’ve gone to this CVS for years because it’s conveniently close to my house. Never again. I’m done sending any of my pharmacy needs here. If you need anything beyond a simple pickup the staff is incredibly rude and condescending and …. Incompetent. I’ve been wading through a severe asthma flare up this past week. They sent off the wrong documentation for a prior authorization to my doctor last Friday. My doctor completed it and followed the instructions provided. I checked in everyday this week with CVS (now a Thursday)….and every time I call to check in I’m met with the absolute worst attitudes and unwillingness to help. When I asked how long it typically takes? They say in an exasperated tone, “depends.” Offering up literally no other helpful information. Yesterday I logged into my health insurance account online and saw that it said “there are no prior authorizations pending.” I asked the pharmacy tech, “should I be concerned that it says there’s no prior authorizations pending?” To which she, in the most condescending and unbelievable manner responded, “well did you CALL the insurance?! Or are you just basing it on what you saw?!” Um…. Wow. And this is every single interaction I have with them. Meanwhile I’m resorting to overusing my albuterol inhaler 4x+ a day while I wait for this prior authorization to go through. I’m unable to work or exercise. I can barely take care of my kids. My back is so pained from the immense laboring of my accessory muscles over this past week with no medication to help my flare up. Come to find out…. CVS sent the wrong authorization paperwork to my doctor… so cvs Caremark never received anything!!! Waiting all week, struggling immensely, due to the incompetence of the employees here!!! Nobody ever offered to help me ensure things were moving along properly and clearly they WEREN’T. They always talked to me like I was a problem for ever daring to bother them with status updates. Absolutely nobody in this town should ever place their trust in CVS but especially not this location at 13th and Maize. The establishment and pharmacy employees are completely deplorable.

These people gave me some other persons medicine. Thank God it was the same medicine I took. Which was a hard drug. It could’ve KILLED someone!! Get it together.

Professional staff. I was there at one of the busier times of day, and the wait was longer than I liked. During that wait at the pharmacy, I was able to watch the interactions with the staff and the customers. The staff was helpful and kind to each person ahead of me.

This Pharmacy is the worst CVS in wichita. Tha techs are rude and the customer service is awful. I recently moved from the east side and would much rather drive back east, out of my way to get my prescriptions! It took my doctors office several days to get ahold of someone to approve a refill. I tried to get over the counter meds from the drive through, which are posted that they are available, I was limited to 1, I only asked for 2 but the tech said I would have to come in for the second item. 1. I said in the beginning of the conversation the two items I wanted, she was not paying attention and went for the wrong item so it took her a long time to get it right. 2. If she would have been listening in the first place, she could have grabbed both when on the floor. 3. I was told they are not supposed to shop for us, I didn’t ask for laundry detergent and toilet paper. I asked for a pain reliever and an allergy medicine. 4. I was also told it was because it was closing time, which goes back to 1, if she would have been paying attention.5. I have given this location three chances. I will not be going back. I will drive out of my way to Central and Oliver or Harry and Hillside!

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. Take days to fill a boxed prescription and then pretend they can't hear me when the long winded recording you have to answer to get to the pharmacist heard my responses just fine.

High risk patient with covid. Filled paxlovid prescription there. They sold me expired prescription and hand wrote on receipt that manufacturer and government extended sale by date. Like I'm supposed to believe some hand written note. Told my family to sue if I end up with major complications. Then I get text that they couldn't bill my insurance. Yes. It is true that insurance won't pay for expired drugs. This place needs shut down before it kills someone.

Pharmacy staff are very rude and impatient. Looking at the other reviews I'm not surprised that I was spoken down to. Hey CVS. If a change is made to someone's prescription. TELL THEM and explain why it's happening. These medications are important and you're a pharmacy not a McDonald's drive-thru. Can't imagine that anything will change though. Really sad.
