Wholesale pricing is not very competitive compared to common grocery stores (Walmart, Dillons, Leeker’s, farmer markets). A couple meet products of pork belly and beef roast is a dollar per pound cheaper than common grocery places elsewhere (when not on promoted sale); and a couple random things like 13 gal bags per 200 is a few dollars cheaper than average pricing from other stores or Amazon. Many other food products are OK on pricing a simply average. The membership would need to be needed for other perks rather than the common items to buy alone, to justify its commonly singular location; massive parking lot and store to get a few things. Much of their placement of things are to entice you to buy more than you need. If you’re compulsive or easily enticed; and enjoy being that way: this place will be an adventure of things to spend lots of money on for the price of the average market anywhere else, with less variety of particular beverages, cheeses, and milk products. They have a good variety of meat products. Sam’s is similar but its own thing. Non-membership stores will often have as good or better pricing in some areas (especially during sales); convenient locations, and not feeling like you’re walking through an entire mall or warehouse to get some eggs, milk, some beverages and maybe some snacks.
If you shop once or twice a month at most, this may be easier to work with. If you need glasses or tires or hearing aids, this is a good value, to use for that one year.

Even with COSTCO standing firm with supporting DEI- my experiences in the past and today have given less than positive interaction. Bring in a business that over looks your presence is just as bad as being followed around like a thief.
I waited and considered my experience before reaching out to management. In speaking with the manager (Brian/Brice??) the air of condescendance dripped from his voice as he asked “do you know what DEI is ?”
Why would that even be a question that matters?? Oh, because the staff let all people of any color other than Caucasian stand around and wait / watch every Caucasian that ordered get their items and be in their way . Two such people came up and made two separate orders and were well on their way. As those of color still stood around.
At this point, COSTCO - is in line with NOT GETTING my $140- $200.
It’s sickening that as far as we have come we are STILL in the same place.

Everyone is always going on and on about how great Costco is but I was underwhelmed. There is not a variety of different brands of products.
I would rather go to Sams Club.

Yesterday I had the worst experience EVER at Costco. I called in a pizza order at 6:00 pm and I show up at Costco at 6:15pm I go buy some socks and pay. Then I go to the food court and pay for my pizza and let the young lady know I'm there and I paid. She perseeds to let me know they never started on my pizza but she would do it now. I get a bit frustrated because what is the point of calling in ahead. I sit and wait 20 min, I go back up to ask where my pizza is at? She goes to the back and the ladies in the back never put it in. So she says it's gonna be another 20 min, at this point I had enough I ask for the manager. The manager is rude from the beginning takes a look at me and says her ( I figure she means it because I am Mexican) So she comes up to me and tells me there's nothing she can do because it's Kansas law they can only wait on me for 30 min before they get rid of a pizza, I then give her timeliness and facts and she replies rudely I let her know not to talk to me like that she gets mad. Refunds my money but tosses it at me. This lady is a liar and disrespectful and thought that just because I was mexican, I was going to allow her to talk down on me!! Wrong Costco do better I might just start taking my business to SAMS Club..
This was the worst service I ever received here!! And my son saw everything.. Thanks to the kind people at customer service for listening to what I said because there were a lot of upset customers last night.

Food court has the worst wait. They have 1 person working and a bunch of workers on the floor doing nothing. Poor guy he was running around trying to get all the orders out.

To busy. The hard sell yo buy a membership is off putting. Prices dont beat other wholesale store and the membership price is much higher.

I'm sick with the flu. My dogs are out of dog food. I brought my son with me so he can run into Costco to grab the dog food. They refused to let my son go inside. I wanted to scan my card then go sit back in the car because I'm sick. They said I HAD to stay in the store with him. I understand if I wasn't on site but I was. We pay the highest membership and spend thousands every year. We've been members for years. My son is still in high school so lives at home. Yes, I can go to another store for now but I pay to shop here so shouldn't have to. This is ridiculous 😡😡😡

The check out line is very unclear on if you are standing in line for self check out or regular check out. This was part of the reason I no longer have a membership.

Very busy. Some merchandise is a good deal. Have to know your prices. Organic food available. Good variety of random samples to try. Some item shortages or supply chain issues. Keep checking back for those.
