“I went in for a small wheelbarrow and they did not have it in stock. Little disappointed but the man helping me offered to order it for me and give it to me for the same sales price. Few days later it came and they assembled it! They called me and I picked it up. They even helped me load it in the car. Good people there that are very helpful and friendly. I would recommend going there.”

“Tish ,Wendy, and Diane have gine the extra mile.. I am terminal with pulmonary fibrosis.I have exceeded my days. With that came lots of chronic pain and many new obstacles. Lost insurance, got sued for tons of medical. They are garnishing 50% of whatever i make right now pre taxes . My bills are triple what I make with Mortgage and taxes and no SSD as I was declined first round and decided to door dash my bills. Well If not for these women putting up with my irritability and mood swings but never gave up on me and never turned me away.. i wouldve gone hungry and still would. I went without gas last winter .. So trust and believe without Salvation Army and these Ladies i would've surely gave up . That kind act is probably the only genuine kindness ive felt here!Thank You Ladies”

“Film can change a life. The Executive Director of Tallgrass Film Association is making a huge difference in the community (and with every interaction), sharing film that makes a difference. So grateful for this resource.”

“This is a wonderful organization! For a very reasonable fee, they loan medical equipment. For a family member coming home from a life threatening hospital stay, I was able to obtain a walker, commode, and shower seat within around 12 hours after finding out we needed these, for $30. The agreement is that when we're done with these items, we donate them back to the MLC for free. There is no return date, use as long as you need them items, just when you're done with them, clean them up and bring them back.”

“I have been a YMCA member for about 10 years and this is definitely my favorite location. I love the large windows around the track, cardio and weights are separate, and the kid's area is secluded from the work out areas/ locker rooms. Men and women also have their own steam rooms/saunas. Over the past several years, I've seen the management evolve. The staff is always nice (minus a couple creepy ones in the past), especially the gentleman in the morning and the longer, curly haired gentleman in the afternoon at the front desk. Cleaning has gotten much better lately! My ONLY complaint is that I get MRSA extremely easily and whatever disinfectant is in their spray bottles, I don't think works against MRSA/Staph. Luckily, I've learned how to catch it early and have prescription topical solutions for it. However, it almost killed me in 2018 and the doctors and I narrowed it down to the gym as the source. (This is VERY common at every gym and not everyone is highly reactive to this bacteria). I would be inclined to give this gym a 5/5 if the cleaning practices were a bit better (which they have improved dramatically over the past year) and their cleaning solution given to patrons was seemingly more effective.”

“Had my first appointment today. It takes a while to get into ANY service and everything in Wichita is understaffed. 10 weeks before my first intake, then 2 weeks and now I had my appointment. I used to have Comcare before but Comcare became callous to where they were milking my insurance but NOT providing any service. I worked so hard to switch to MHA. Now i have had my first appointment and lookin g forward for the future. Please know MHA and Comcare use is usually based on personal service.Comcare is better with dealing older clients, homeless, vetrans. They have those resources. Comcare is better with low maintenance demographic with immediate suffering. Homeless? Veteran? lost benefits? comcare fixes that! need long term treatment? Comcare is not the option in my opinion. they like short term relation ships and anymore with life long struggles (like me since 3 yrs old) they get aggravated over time to the point of not wanting to help.MHA is better for younger demographic, and has activities and programs for lots more personal growth. MHA is better for younger people WITH THEIR OWN PLAN to move forward and MHA gets them there. I have been told about so many programs to move forward AND MHAs goal/motto is to help mental health in the community stop predejuice and support equality.Comcare's motto/goal is to deliver "professional service" and that is by their standards not anyone elses.Read the promises in each lobby of what each business means. i am seriously looking forward to my MHA rehabilitation”

“The Goodwill branch on Oliver, is the main hub for all the Goodwill locations in south central Kansas, so it is normally much better stocked, and has more and better items than the other ones.It also has at least 4 changing rooms, 2 restrooms, handicapped parking and access, and a massive parking lot with plenty of spaces. It also has a large covered delivery area, so even if it is pouring rain, anyone donating can do so comfortably unaffected.”

“Was a great place to work and multiple departments have been helpful to my clients over the years assisting with case management, psychosocial programs and other valuable services. It is unfortunate there are reviews on here by an individual who is blasting some guy (possibly rightfully so) who is associated with South Central Mental Health and Counselling Center (SCMHCC), which is NOT MHASCK. Irresponsible reviewing of business when one isn't even reviewing the correct business is probably the biggest complaint I have of Google Reviews, there is no way to reverse it, so it is stuck out here on the internet and those who don't fully do their homework assume it is true. :-(”
