Honestly this place had the worst customer service I've seen in a while. It seems budget is able to take the reservation, but has trouble keeping the reservation. I asked for a very specific vehicle that they did not end up having nor did any of their other locations. The agent Vivian took no accountability for the screw up and had no solutions to correct the problem. After speaking to management they questioned why I just couldn't take a different vehicle. I reserved what I reserved for a reason. If some asked for a three seatter SUV , would you offer them a two seatter small vehicle ??? Won't return

After reading other reviews on here I was really nervous about arriving for my reservation. I was visiting from out of town and desired a rental to complete some errands, and to see friends and family at my leisure. I completed the booking online, I did not bring my credit card with me (just my two other visa debit cards that have more than enough sufficient funds for a hold that could be placed by budget). The front counter gal could benefit from customer service skills and budgets debit card policy. Check/Debit Card Requirements: This location only accepts bank-issued debit cards with the MasterCard or Visa logo at the time of the rental. The check/debit card must be embossed with the renter's name. No pre-paid, loadable or payroll cards are accepted. The full deposit amount needed at the time of rental as noted in the "Additional Fees and Credit Holds" section must be available on the check/debit card account. 2. Car Groups: At the time of rental pickup, a check/debit card can be used for the required deposit for only these specific vehicle classes: Economy cars, Compact cars, Intermediate cars, Standard cars, Full-Size cars, Hybrid cars, Intermediate SUVs, Standard SUVs, Minivans, 12 and 15 Passenger Vans, Premium 15 Passenger Vans, Mid and Full-Size Pickups, Medium and Large Cargo Vans and Moving Trucks only. A check/debit card cannot be used for any other vehicle classes. 3. Deposit Information: Budget will secure a deposit from your account as noted in the section entitled "Additional Fees and Credit Holds". Budget reserves the right in its sole discretion to request extra value based on certain factors as we deem appropriate. THESE FUNDS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR YOUR USE. Upon returning the vehicle, Budget will refund the unused portion of the deposit subject to your banks procedures. The credit may take up to 2 weeks to be deposited by your bank. If you fail to return the vehicle as agreed, Budget will obtain additional deposits from your account to cover the rental charges. Budget is not responsible for any returned checks or overdrafts based on this policy. In the United States, check/debit cards can be used at the end for payment of rental charges. Prepaid debit/gift cards are accepted at time of return only. 4. Additional Qualifying Documents: In addition to a valid driver's license (see the "Driver's License Requirements" section for details) and bank-issued check/debit card embossed in the renter's name, one additional qualifying document with the same address as the driver's license is required. If the addresses do not match, a second qualifying document is required. Qualifying documents differ depending on if you are a Kansas resident or a non-Kansas resident. Qualifying documents cannot show a past due or negative account balance, negative account activity or disconnect notice. - Kansas residents must bring a current copy (within the last 45 days) of renter's contracted cellular phone bill, home telephone or utility bill, bank statement, mortgage statement, paycheck stub or insurance statement/policy declaration showing their name and local address."I had various mail on hand with me including insurance, phone and bank statements and she kept looking at me and repeated, "but is that a utility bill?" Honestly this was a blessing in disguise. I booked a car hassle & Karen free off Turo! If you're considering booking with this location, just avoid it! Headache and time wasted.

if I could give this place negative stars I would this place should be shut down! they are a fraud 1st they made be 2 reservations which I was charged for then called the day prior and confirm my booking I let them know I was using a debit card and the lady said bring in your electric bill insurance card and your id i had just rented from them not even 3 weeks ago.. so I knew what to bring but we had just brought our 1st home and my new 09/2022 electric bill had my new address on it and my id had my old address on it I asked the lady on the phone if that would be a issue and she said no it would be fine just bring your previous 08/2022 bill to show your old address Ill make a note on your account i said great I'll bring that in no problem I get there and I still have the dup booking which I called customer services and thought I got it fixed but was still in system the lady at the counter is telling me I have to have 2 months at my current address thats on the 09/22 statement in order to rent the car?? I said ma'am that makes no sense why have 2 months of bills at address I just moved to I can show u my lot rent lease my mortage papers lt wasnt good enough I offered to show her my banking app with more then enough money in my acct to pay the booking and any damages to the car she would not let me get the rental I needed this car to go see my dying grandmother I took off work and everything to go and do this and I couldn't make it to my home town in time before she passed because they refused to give me the rental be cause my address didn't match which if the lady I spoke with prior to the day of my reservation had told me it would be a problem I would have made other arrangements and they refused to give me my money back I'm heart broken and so hurt they should be ashamed

I reserved a compact. They even called the day prior and confirmed my reservation. Then when I showed up to pick up the rental, they put me in a gas guzzling VAN. No apologies, no refund, no offer to resolve the problem.

Recently rented a mini van for a family road trip. The workers made a big deal about if the vehicle was returned dirty there would be an expensive cleaning fee. However, when we got the vehicle it was disgusting. Smashed dead fly on the inside of the vehicle, the upholstery was dirty and all inside windows were gross and sticky. Also we were pulling out of our driveway and the tire was already reading low air pressure. If you are going to make a big deal of us returning the vehicle nicely, you might want to rent it out nicely.

Absolutely horrible experience at this place. Jane was a complete idiot and I believe she changed our reservation and tried to add extra coverage. She told us our price was different than my email confirmation and refused to help. I called budget corporate customer service and they were wonderful. They are refunding us the difference that this place was trying to charge. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. IDIOTS AND LIARS!

Reserved a standard Volkswagen sedan. Arrived, was given the choice of a Mustang GT or a Charger. Kinda fun, I guess, but they obviously pay zero attention to your reservation. Car looked like it was washed with a dirty mop, and all four tires had 25psi or less in them, causing the dash light to come on until I could get home and air them up myself. Attendant spent maybe 10 seconds circling the car when I picked it up, no damage was noted, I foolishly trusted her. Had to return the car because they refused to work with my (national) dealership who was repairing my car. Upon return, I was informed there was a chip in the windshield and was forced to file a claim. They had NO idea of potential costs, implying I may have to pay for a new windshield. After 3 weeks and Budget taking my $150 deposit, they finally refunded part of it with no explanation, email, letter, etc. I emailed the local shop and was told they were keeping $55 to pay for the chip (nearly impossible to see from a foot away). The building is old and run down, and after this little con game, I will never rent from Budget again. Unfortunately, the corporate office declines to get involved since it's a franchise. Lesson learned - inspect the car with a fine tooth comb, and video the entire interior and exterior of the car before you accept it.

I’d give zero stars if possible. Made a reservation for a moving truck online and when I showed up the only employee they had gave one of the last trucks (and the one I reserved) to a customer who didn’t have a reservation. When I asked about renting the larger truck they had (and the last truck) the woman told me it was reserved and there was nothing she could do for me. I called Budgets main office and they told me someone would reach out from another location about a different moving truck but no one ever did. I wouldn’t waste your time here. Unprofessional and unapologetic about it.
