There is a Male by the first name "Charles" he is shady to me and is aggressive when he sets up the machines. He stuck me pretty bad , I was so close to reporting him. Wouldn't recommend him for first timers. Everyone else there has been brilliant to me!!!!

They will literally steal your blood, their machine will mess up, and they Will not properly compensate you for literally throwing your blood into the garbage.
DO NOT EVER DONATE HERE. Find a better location

I waited 6 hours to donate finally got into a bed waiting to get hooked up, donor employee asked me to move to another bed across the room I got slight attitude mumbled under my breath. Staff member than asked me what I have to say and say it louder so I did and she said to leave and the permanently deffered me no customer service no sympathy for someone waiting 6 hours to donate discussed with this place. All I said is are you serious ? That’s it no cussing or yelling at all. Everytime I went before that it takes 4 hours for a normal donation.

Mayliah was the best I ever had. She was nice and thoughtful careful and helped me the best she could. The wait to get back wasn't bad.

I am going to be 58 years old and a few months and when I made my donation today my phone which is new had put itself in the safe mode and I had so many issues it was just unbelievable but when I laid in the chair the young lady named Sandra take care of me and as she was setting the machine up she told me to turn the phone off and turn it back on I told I didn't know how but she showed me how to do all of that she went above and beyond and made my experience memorable and I just wanted to share that because she was so helpful for helping a senior citizen like me and I deeply appreciate it and she is what I considered to be a good hire good job thank you

I suggest to never donate her staff is immature the wait is forever. The immature staff concentrate on the drama amongst staff it's an uncomfortable experience

Scheduled my first appointment as a new donor. Never donated plasma in my life. Thought griffols had a good location/reputation so I decided to go there for my first. Set the appointment for July 8th Monday at 11:00am CST. Got my SS card, Drivers license and a piece of mail. Round trip we are looking about an hour of my time or just a little more. Coming from El Dorado. Get to the door. CLOSED mondays. Why can I schedule for the facility I picked go to the facility and it be closed? This seems like an IT issue Mondays should be blocked out to schedule at this location if it is closed. Very frustrated. Didnt really want to go to csl based off location but that will be where I go unless this is resolved somehow.
Update:: Went in for my first donation today. Made them aware of the technical issue. The employee I was speaking with said yea that happens. I asked for a little compensation like 10$ to just cover gas from el dorado to wichita. The employee told me no, I politely asked for the manager. Her face lit up and she said I am the manager. Once again asked for compensation. She told me it is out of her hands and corporate policy so just throwing someone else under the bus. I completed my donation. did the exam with John. That guy saved the face of ur company in my eyes he was awesome to work with in general. At the end of my donation I made it clear I would not be returning based on the experience I had from the manager and IT issues ( being able to schedule at a closed center ) The worker asked me to come back because they would have to "orphan" the donation and it could not be used. So I asked the manager again. Hey Im only looking for like 10 bucks to cover gas. She said corporate has my hands tied and took no responisbility for the issue.
Update#2 manager said she would call me the next day I havnt heard anything from her. Would really like to go back and donate again so my plasma is not thrown in the bin. But she has to make this right.
Update#3 I had time today so I called the location about 7 times before someone picked up the phone I spoke with a different manager that was wonderful. I explained the situation and corporate really has tied their hands on compensation. It wasn’t that way 6 months ago when I helped manage their Facebook page through a 2nd party company named TheCentr. My morals prohibit me from returning to this establishment. It is unfortunate that you could not part with 10$ to cover gas and now have to throw away my plasma that could have helped someone. I am genuinely upset about that. Corporate Griffols isn’t here to help. They are here to take advantage of poor people and line their pockets with more money.

Pros
Friendly and helpful staff
Cons
It's too far away from where I live at so I decided to go back to Octapharma.
They lowered the 2nd donation payment from 75 to 70.
They want you to do appointments so they know who will be coming in but it doesn't help the donors who still have to wait in line behind everybody else who came in before them regardless of whether they have a appointment or not. It's still "first come, first serve."
Usually, there is a long wait time for screening because there is only one person screening, and sometimes when you're laying in bed, waiting for them to stick you.
They pay less than Octapharma Plasma. Octapharma pays at the most $120/week while Grifols pays $110.
Short staffed sometimes theirs no one upfront to answer the phone. They need to hire more people for screening.
Once they hire more people and increase their donation payments, they will see a huge improvement in patient retention and wait times.

Forgot to mention, after all this I went up the street to another plasma center and donated with no issue. That are Overly picky about the veins in my right arm. I never even use that one, clearly everything would have been fine. It comes down to an opinion nothing official. The staff I interacted with were all right but this phlebotomist was just over the top, you could see it on her face, self important. Like I said, I immediately went up the street and had no issue whatsoever.

I came because it's so close to home but it would be faster to walk to another center and back, this place is so unreasonably slow. One person on vitals and even slower in back. No actual bonuses and beginner donor fee knocked down by $100, the time has got to be counting down for this place to stay open with all these bad decisions. Frustrating

Everyone is friendly and helpful. The facility is very clean. Scheduling on the app is easy and convenient. There is plenty of parking and they have music playing. There have been times where I’ve been in and out in 1 hour or less (including screening time). I love it here!
A special shout out to Trista, who is a supervisor. I personally saw her deal with an upset donor. She was very tactful and remained calm. Ian is also great! He caught me off guard when he started greeting me by my first name. He’s a friendly and professional guy!
