Pat and Leroy Thompson are two of the most HONEST, most DEDICATED, most HARD WORKING, most helpful people I have ever met in the car service industry. They are completely transparent, tell you EVERYTHING they plan to do, what's necessary, what can wait, and they will find used parts if you prefer. I'm telling you, I have NEVER felt better about getting my car serviced than I did with them. I will be a CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!!

Leroy and Pat have saved me so much money over the past few years. They tell it to you straight, only do what needs to be done, look for ways to save you money, have loaner cars, and are very friendly. The best!!!

I don't recommend this place, you think they know what they are doing but on the contrary they dont. I ended up with a bad transmission because they used the wrong Fluid on my ML Mercedes-Benz, they wanted to save some money on cheaper fluid costing me 3500$ repair ticket from the Dealer. Not recommended place

I had the worst experience, on top of being non professional, they end up charging more money & more time, then you end up with the same problem again without warranty. I would not recommend this place.

Alright, so I enlist their help while I was living in Wichita. I requested that they do some work on an old Triumph TR6. So I knew that it was going to cost but, it cost me too much. Once I got the car back I shipped it to Ca. When I got to California I noticed the lights didnt work anymore, "how odd I" said. Then I had a mechanic look at what was done. Ya some of the wires were not even connected, I was told by this mechanic, " ya this was not done correctly, hence why your lights are not working anymore." The custom tunnel was nice dont get me wrong but it would have been nice if they would have put the carpet back on top of the tunnel, they didnt. Lastly the trunk had all its panels, granted the panels were bad but it had the original, ya they never put those panels back in, leaving the gas tank exposed and the spare tire. I dont know what happen, maybe they half a** this job because I would not stop calling them. Maybe I was the unlucky one but I always tell my friends in Wichita not to go here with their cars. One bad job is one too many.

Al Wellman's is the best. Pat and Leroy are married and run the shop themselves and Pat runs the Zumba studio next door. They'll explain everything in plain terms and never make you feel bad for not knowing something. I used to live in the area and always come home to have them work on my car. When I moved away Pat insisted I have any other auto shop call "uncle Leroy" so he can make sure they aren't screwing me over. Cheaper and more flexible than any other shop I've ever dealt with. Wellman's is terrific. Also they have three cute dogs who live in the front office.

Awesome scratch repair! Got a quote at autocraft for $800 and Wellman did a superb job for $350. The shop had a small town feel to it and did a bang up job.
