They took Is a new patient on short notice and were very attentive. Both of our boys needed updated vaccines.

I’ve brought three dogs here and it’s absolutely the best. All the doctors are so kind and caring with my pups the training program here is also top-notch! And affordable. So grateful for WAH in the community.

I’ve been bringing my adopted pets here for 10+ years and we have dealt with a variety of issues from wellness care, behavioral concerns, chronic illness, acute injuries, and end-of-life care. All of the staff and veterinarians have been knowledgeable and empathetic. I couldn’t imagine wanting to take my pets any place else. Special shout out to Emily at the front desk! ?

I debated sharing my experience publicly for a while and decided that it may benefit another pet owner out there. This review is purely based on my personal experience and opinion.Pros/ what gives it 3 stars: The front desk staff is incredibly kind and patient. I loved them. The vet staff and vet tech are kind and welcoming. They create a good environment to ease your pet’s anxieties.Cons/why I took off 2 stars: We have recently switched to a new vet because of our recent experience at Westwood. We dealt with ongoing health issues with my two young dogs for months now. So many visits, so much money, so much back and forth. It has been almost 2 months since my puppy threw up blood and had bloody stools and was bleeding from her ears. Not a single follow up call from this office. Not a single “why” when I asked for vet records to be transferred. I did my research and made a list of potential causes and treatments so that I know what lingo is used and what normal vet protocol is with the issues my dog was having. I did this because I had to- no one actually sits you down and investigates with you on what could be wrong. No diagnosis was provided. When my dog threw up again, I was told to just continue the meds. No one did a proper stool sample test, no one did an ultrasound, no one tested for parasites or gave us antibiotics in case there was a bacterial issue. No one batted an eye when my dog had a raging ear infection a week after finishing her first treatment. Time and time again I was brushed off and my concerns were not taken seriously. It wasn’t until I took my dog to another vet that I realized how much things had dragged on and my poor dog was suffering because of the lack of proper care at Westwood. My dogs are fine now. They got the meds they needed. However I am still trying to get my dog to put on more weight because of the toll it took on her body for being sick for that long. If I had gone to a different vet from the beginning, this issue would be resolved within 1-2 weeks instead of dragging it on to several weeks. If your pet gets sick, make sure you get a second opinion in addition to whatever Westwood tells you. Trust your gut. But honestly, don’t bother with this vet clinic- go elsewhere. There are a ton of options nearby (that are cheaper)

The docs & staff at Westwood have been excellent. They will go above and beyond to make sure your pet is well taken care of. I especially appreciate their willingness to give options that are cost effective. All of the docs are great, but special shout out to Dr. Weis and Brenna at the front desk who have helped us through a couple of recent health issues with our mini dachshund. Their compassion and willingness to fit us in have meant so much.Highly recommend this clinic!

I love this vet office. They work to accommodate their patients, offer very accessible hours, and have scheduled me on short notice several times without issue. I have a cat and a large dog. Dr. Weis is my veterinarian and I think she's fantastic. She has diagnosed/treated issues in both my cat and dog that were missed or not treated effectively by other professionals.

Had an odd payment charged to my card and I have never been a client of theirs. I called and the secretary immediately looked into it and found the error and reversed the charges

Affordable, friendly and knowledgeable. My Vincent stays very calm during his exams. I still go there even though we've moved further out.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Dr. Hunthausen is very knowledgeable, caring vet. I was very impressed with my first visit. Whatever he suggested about my dog helped tremendously. He is the best. Their facility is clean and very organized. Loved it.

I first started going to Westwood Animal Hospital in 2007 when my Schnauzer was poisoned by that Chinese Melamine poison scandal. They helped me go through Ravens death. They gave me the information I needed to get the medical bills reimbursed by Iam’s Dog Food. I just showed up one evening after work and they didn’t hesitate helping us. I am on my fourth animal since then (a very ADHD and overly energetic Boxer, Tater. Always the best care for the animals and myself whenever the dogs/cats needed help. I recommend them to everyone.

Dr Weis and Dr Martin are excellent. Totally trustworthy and kind to our pets. Also, great pet training classes (Mary) and all the front desk employees are super nice.
