I went in on Sunday to prepay for my gas and to redeem some of my points. I told Savannah that I wanted to prepay for $25 and to redeem some of my points. She scanned the code and told me that I was good to go. I went out and started to fill my vehicle. I noticed that I didn’t receive my $.05 discount. I went back in to get my $.40 refund and to let them know that I didn’t get it. I was told that I didn’t put my code in. I explained that I wasn’t told that I needed to put my code in. The other clerk got rude. I told her to give me my receipt and I will not come back. Tried calling today to talk to the manager and the clerk that answered wanted to know why and when I wouldn’t tell her she told me to call back tomorrow.

Usually this gas station is very good with service however this morning I have never been so disrespected. I had gone to the self checkout and prepaid for coffee without even checking and didn't realize that all 3 coffees machines were down. I apologized to the lady at the register and asked if I could get a refund. She called over Julian who berated me over the fact I prepaid for my coffee without checking and had to refund me my $3. If it wasn't for the other employees or the fact they have Papa John's in there I don't know that I would ever stop again. Terrible service!

Don't bother using their car wash, scratches and a mirror torn off becomes "its your fault" and threats if this interaction is posted online.

When I was there, I over heard the worker said you can not take that many napkins or straws. The person had two straws and maybe six napkins. They said if you need them you will have to pay for it. That is horrible when someone has to be charged for napkins and straws. I can not wait till another gas station comes into town and take business away from you.

Will never come here again because of the new check out system. I have always loved the small town hospitality...this is the begining of the end of that. If I wanted self check out, I would go to Walmart and save money. I was guided to the self checkout by the Manager or owner...not sure which one it was. I told her I really would prefer a cashier. She said that I might wanna shop somewhere else then. Ok. Well. This is a follow up since I originally posted my review 5 months ago. I have not spent a dime in this place since that day. And, just so you know. I came there 5 days a week and got lunch for myself and my crew. In the last 5 months you lost nearly $5,500.00 by telling me to go somewhere else....and I'm just one person....how much more have you lost? Are you enjoying your wonderful 2 star average rating?! Give people what they want or they won't give you the money you want.

If i wanted self service registers, i would drive to WalMart and save 20-25%% of my purchases. Go back to small town Wamego and bring back the way it was where you got a friendly face and good service ...not a machine and a grumpy lady who degrades you for not liking the self pay registers.

I tried the chocolate coffee from the automated machine... The WORST coffee I've ever had, it tasted like hot poured into an ashtray. I'm sticking to cappuccino.

The lady standing in front of the self pay registers asked if we wanted to use it I said no. She then made snide remarks about me to other customers and thought she was funny. Say bye-bye to my business. Staff like her is why this is a 3 star rated convenience store and the ratings are going down every time I check. I only spend $50-$100 a month in here so I am probably no big loss to them, but my wife came here for lunch every day with the other girls from the office.. they will not be back either. Hope it was worth it.
